Agreed with that. I don't know... I just never have ranked it that highly. In some ways I wonder what the fuss is about with GOLDFINGER. I personally voted for FROM RUSSIA WITH LOVE, but only just above THUNDERBALL - I felt that it set the standard for the rest of the franchise. It's kind of nice to not see Goldfinger leading a Bond poll for once.
Favorite Sean Connery James Bond Film

Upon a more critical viewing I see that there is a huge fatal flaw in that film. Look for a new thread as this gets really off topic come to think of it.

The film is so strong because of its plot. A real spy driven piece. Connery is his best here, how cool is this man?
My favourite Connery film.

Now, I'm still a high school student. Here in Hungary, in the last days of the school year, we don't study, we just do different things. My class for example watched movies, but not in a tv. It was projected on a screen. One day everyone brought in a dvd. But the DVD player in the school was an old one and it could only play my ultimate edition 'You only live twice' dvd. It was really a fantastic to see it on the big screen. And incidently, this was on the day of the 40th anniversary of the film.
"Blofeld: Only one man has this gun. James Bond.
My classmate: But that is Mr Fisher."
