Useless. May as well blur his face the way they report on things.

Well I think usually they are custom made, but who knows.

Poor condition of Rome's streets are hampering the car chase??

http://www.mi6-hq.co...88&t=mi6&s=news

Saw this over at MI6 but can't tell where they got it from...(it's not very well written, could be a direct translation of some Italian article somewhere) but again it does come back to Rome being under-prepared for such a big production. Make of it what you will..

Re-write (or better slightly altered c&p) of this article: http://www.thelocal....t-bond-car-race

And I'm not certain if this comes back to Rome being underprepared for such a big production. I see it the other way round. This can't have been too big a surprise, that's what streets in Rome are like. If I intend to shoot a car chase at a certain place, I have to have an eye on the streets. If there are cobbles, I have to be prepared for that. If I don't like that, I have to shoot elsewhere.

Good point..Yeah, I guess it's really on the production team underestimating the condition of the streets and whether they would fit the needs of the car chase. Still though, no big deal really as we have seen from the videos the chase sequence seems to be going along just fine. :)

Nice one Luigi...similar phots and coverage here in the UK tabloids, just for those who don't read Italian:

http://www.dailymail...y-trainers.html

But another show that our UK media just are brainless. A worthy headline for DC filming in Rome?

'Bond star Daniel Craig teams his trademark suit with scruffy trainers as he prepares to shoot active scenes for Spectre in Rome'

and one of their observations...

"While the footwear will no doubt be cropped out of the final edit..."

OH! Really? Thanks for that barnstorming journalism there.

Agreed, incredibly lame, sigh.

Craig was spotted today at Rome airport, so presumably the next few days of filming will rely heavy on stunt work and doubles.

Poor condition of Rome's streets are hampering the car chase??

My only worry would be if they're unable to properly convey the desired speed of the chase. But I'm sure they'll be able to.

Was my first thought, too, but I don't think this is the case.

Yeah - I don't think it is anything to do with Q because the extended bumper thing that extrudes from the other cars has been removed.

It looks as though it 'might' have been removed for mounting gear.

For anyone keeping track, it appears the filming tonight mainly involved the cars speeding out of Via Alberico and turning right into Via Properzio.

I like how the DB10 takes the corner and then corrects itself. That's exciting - Bond is the chased and he's going to be driving fast.
