These are two great looking cars. Fingers crossed this becomes an iconic Bond sequence.

Very exciting to see the effort to do everything for real. I hope they use very little cgi on this one. That very large blue screen at Pinewood still worries me, though. That being said, that Jag is gorgeous, absolutely gorgeous. And so is the Aston. Do you guys think we´ll get some of the definitive filming tonight?

There's no doubt that SPECTRE is going to be world-class spectacle, more so than any Bond film in quite some time. These are some extraordinary locales. Even the improvised locations look great.

I wouldn't be too worried with the blue screen yet. That's a permanent part of the Pinewood paddock tank, and not something brought in specifically for SPECTRE.

Hoping there's some filming tonight, but guess there could be a couple of nights of testing first!

You´ve put my mind at ease, my friend. Still got the ptsd from 2002. Revived by those awful helicopters from SF. Still, if the Austria filming pictures we´ve seen tell us something, is that they´re going old school on this one. Cant´wait to see some more of this chase, at night that orange from the JAG must be quite a sight going through Rome.

It's unapologetically classic Bond. Two cars worth a fortune racing each other in Italy. Bond films are about spectacle and being transported to a fantasy for two and a bit hours. And I'm confident this fantasy is going to be realised with practical methods and look as real as possible. I am really excited about this car chase. This, together with the snow sequence in Austria, has me very optimistic.

Anyone know if Ben "The Stig" Colins is working on SPECTRE? He was the main stunt driver for SF wasn't he?

Fantastic little bit. I suspect this could be another classic "Bond arrives in...." shot with Craig clearly behind the wheel. Put a good score over it and some insert close-ups and 007 is on the scene.

All these images and video of the DB10...It just looks like a shark. When we got the first pics of it at the announcement, I stated that it looks like it's doing 40mph just parked. With this footage, the damn thing appears to be just gliding. Beautiful car.

As to all the above stills, and with the cinematography, this whole thing is going to have a spectacular modern yet "old school" look to it.

Aching for the first teaser trailer.

I looked at the map. Felt like I was glancing at the submarine tracking system schematics from TSWLM...At least it wasn't through my cigarette case/lighter microfilm reader.

Interesting.

....DB10 looking like a shark....

Yes Bryce.  I was wondering which animal this car was looking like.  And bearing in mind most cars with some attitude take after things feline, this does absolutely look like a shark.

It does look as though they are going down the route of some sort of a personalised plate for this car.

I am wondering if in the final edit we will actually see the plate but if so, bit chavvy.

Apparently they got the Italian numberplates wrong too... had 90s plates on modern cars?

Brilliant news guys, thanks for sharing.

Still like the DB9 better, but this still looks a fine car. And Craig is really harkening a 60s style about him, looking very stylish and sophisticated.
