So we can assume Lucia Sciarra is Marco's wife/widow. Right?

I'm thinking they're either married or they're brother/sister.
"I thought you'd be just the type for a widow."

I'd go with Lucia Sciarra being Marco's widow, at which point Bond swoops in and helps with the mourning process in his own way...

By the way, great too see Michael G. Wilson is back in action. :)

Indeed it is. Glad he's back on set of a Bond movie, where he belongs.

Looks like they're shooting on film, instead of digitally. Can't wait to see what images we'll get, when they release the teaser.

Yep, the Panavision Panaflex Millennium XL2. Both Mendes and Hoyte Van Hoytema wanted to shoot on film. I guess Mendes didn't want to do Skyfall in digital, but it was Deakins' insistence. As a huge advocate for digital filmmaking, I'm actually glad to have this one on film. Now if only it gets the same IMAX treatment as Interstellar, then I'll be happier than ever!

Was there any mention by Mendes or Van Heytema, if IMAX cameras were going to be used in SPECTRE?

I talked with another member on here that had said that the head of IMAX disclosed that it'll either use the cameras or the aspect ration. Since we're in February and filming has been ongoing since early December, I don't think we'll see any usage of IMAX camera's. It'll most likely be the aspect ratio they use and will work with IMAX crews in post-production. I did read that Mendes is planning on utilizing a special spherical lens for the major action scenes which would give a slightly similar effect than using IMAX cameras.

Shame, because I was hoping Van Hoytema would use IMAX cameras again, after his stunning work on Interstellar. Be a bigger shame if Spectre didn't get an IMAX release.

Has anyone been able to read the name on the big cover plate? Or might that be a random name, since it was removed in the scene they shot yesterday?

From Rome last night.

There were a lot of spectators for yesterday's shoot and a number reported seeing Christoph Waltz on set, but there were no clear photos, that I've seen. There was one, which I'm convinced showed him from the back. Anyway, here he is - he was out for dinner with Monica Bellucci and Daniel Craig.

Funnily enough, I just logged in to post exactly that. It says MARCO SCIARRA.

Wasn't entirely sold on it yesterday if it was really him on that one picture, but with this one, it's fairly obvious: Michael G. Wilson is back. Great news!

Yes, it's really good to see that not only is he up and about after the operation but well enough to be at work on location.

I hope it's not really going to wear numberplates with its model number on! :)

Plus that's the wrong colour numberplate for the back of the car; silly Q Branch.

Such a great cast this time....again!

I, too wasn't sold on the photo of Michael G. yesterday..hard to tell that it was him. But this definitely confirms it! Excellent. Also, I'm marking my calendar for March 28th for the first trailer! A belated birthday gift for me, courtesy of EON Productions! :D

The graffiti is still there... So the city failed to follow through on their promise to clean things up before Bond arrived.. :P So yeah, most likely a night shoot is the solution..

Am I alone in thinking that showing graffiti isn't exactly a bad thing? Sure, Rome wants to be seen in the best light and Bond films have a certain beauty to them, but I think the graffiti can add a certain amount of gritty beauty of it's own and if they leave it in, I think it could work.

This car chase was originally written for Dalton's third Bond film back in 1990. It's nice to see it finally make it to the screen.

Does anyone know what the other Aston Martin is for? Will it be involved in the chase or do they just have one for tests and rehearsals? Or will it double for the DB10 in certain scenes that will later be finished with CGI?

There's yer Christmas 2015 Scalextric set right there.

Seems weird to have a chase between two cars which money can't buy. And they said Bond was all about the product placement! :) Funny how those cars both have the same back end, isn't it?

Good question Stromberg... Perhaps it's one of the other "baddie" cars we saw in the parking lot of Blenheim Palace that joins in the chase ?

Let's hope that none of these beautiful machines accidentally ends up in the river! As much  fun as it would be to have a chase along this river, I certainly wouldn't trust myself behind the wheel! :D

I would imagine it's a practice car myself- they seem to do that with these movies.

Bond in an Aston being chased by another Aston? Would only be suitable of the other driver was a fellow Double-O with his "company car" who turns out to be a double agent.

Get a score as exhilarating and exciting as 'Time To Get Out' with this car chase and it will be a cinematic masterpiece for Bond.
