I just watched this one too. An excellent episode. I'm was lukewarm on Donna as his companion but she has been growing on me & the stories have been getting stronger as the season is progressing.I know we're way behind here in the US, but I just watched the second part of The Library last night. Really excellent. That Steven Moffet is some kind of genius.

I've heard from an unnamed source that audiences will be twice as happy next week if they like Tennants doctor.
Don't let two different suits and some staged photos fool you...
Morrisey is the man. Or should I say, Doctor?

Wait, so the Doctor splits in two? That's the lamest thing I've ever heard.
LOL! No... think about it more logically.

I'm afraid there's no Morrisey on ep 13
Is that an insiders nod or a hunch....?
I would hint that David Morrisey is certainly "in the frame"....

Which is odd considering I've heard that DT is negotiating a new 3-season deal...

Also, Tennant was still wearing the sideburns when they were shooting the Xmas special... I'm far from convinced that he's going just yet.

Indeed, although, of course, the hand may be the biggest red herring of all time. After all, the Doctor's "daughter", cloned from him, is whizzing through time and space and might easily pop up to revive him. Rose has looked into the heart of the Tardis, so who knows what a kiss from her might do (didn't she bring back Captain Jack from the dead at the end of Season 1?). And there's Captain Jack himself...RTD should lend a hand to Tennant so he can stay in the show, don't you think so?
It all reminds me of what Fleming did. Killed off Bond at the end of FRWL, had him saved in a "with-one-bound-he-was-free" cop out at the start of Dr. No.
Nah- they wouldn't kill off Tennant without a big heroic exit; plus there's too much going on in these episodes to bring in a new Doc as well.
Also, Tennant was still wearing the sideburns when they were shooting the Xmas special... I'm far from convinced that he's going just yet.
And if - please God - it is still Tennant come Christmas, my guess is he'll be around a while longer yet. Be a bit odd to have another regeneration scene any time in the next 12-18 months.

My bet is:
SJS is saved by Mickey and TW guys by Jack or the Pterodactyl. And when the people see what happen to the Doctor after the regeneration kids will yell hurray and the older ones will tell 'That was very ingenious'

There is NO Plot Synopsis for 'Journeys End'.
From Wiki...
"Journey's End" is the thirteenth and final episode of the fourth series of British science fiction television series Doctor Who and the third episode of this series' three-part finale. It will be broadcast on BBC One on 5 July 2008. At 65 minutes in length, it is some 20 minutes longer than standard episodes of the revived series. As with the previous series' finale episodes, no preview tapes were issued to the press to prevent details of the plot being leaked.
Very Exciting! I cannot wait untill tomorrow night.

I suppose that if the end means that it's jettisoned all the hangers-on for a fresh start then all to the good, but I can't say that the prospect of more of it thrills me.
If the plot was to destroy everything leaving only them, then given that they were built to conquer and destroy (as I understand it) then they would ultimately have to conquer and destroy themselves. This appeared to be a logical flaw in all the silly gurning and ham-fisted "emotion". Didn't appear to be mentioned.
Not unenjoyable while it was there, I suppose, and I did watch to the end of it. Understood about 3%, I think - seemed to be terribly alienating (ho ho) to the casual viewer, i.e. me.

Yeah, I think I'd agree with that. Plus there was a lot of nonsense science in there explaining everything "No Davros- you can't use the Hypoxiscathartometer of death!!" which all reminded me of the worst of 80's Dr Who.
And Davros can be scary, but not when he's ranting about the destruction of the entire universe. Then he's just a bit silly. Like a very bad, very cheap Bond villain. Shame, because I like Davros.
The idea about the Doctor changing people into weapons as Davros makes Daleks was a nice one, and the German Daleks were great, but otherwise... all a bit too much.

Yes, that was funny if not terribly subtle - Daleks as a genetically engineered Master Race. Fancy.

Well, that's never been subtle: 'exterminate' etc. I mean, you've seen Davros, yes? Old lady jowels, lots of ranting, black tunic- he even has one hand raised in a sort of salute most of the time! The Nazi thing has never exactly been hidden very deep under the surface, so I didn't mind the blatant Germanizing of them!

Odd series that. Pretty underwhelmed by the first and last episodes (always entertaining, but pretty forgettable) but lots of good stuff inbetween.

Well, Your in luck. RTD has stepped down as head writer.
