As for the next guy, Matt Smith... well I've seen the trailer and all that and he looks quite good. Am looking forward to spring. Tough shoes to fill I'm sure but he'll do ok if they keep up the damn good work they've been doing throughout Season 1 to 4. Obviously there'll be change and all that but that is to be expected. But again I'm sure they'll do a wonderful job!
Anyway, thanks to DT for the job well done in keeping the great Dr fresh and full of life and so entertaining and I'm writing this as I listen now to This is Gallifrey- Our childhood, our home which is ing bringing a bloody tear to my eye!

Torchwood rumors.
And for convenience, typing up a list of audio books and novels featuring the Eleventh Doctor. Note that this only novels and audio books. Other things like the Decide Your Destinies and stuff I'm not typing up, as that'll take far too long. Specific release dates posted are as listed on amazon. Actual dates may vary.
Due April:
The Hounds of Artemis by James Goss [audio] Apr 8
Night of the Humans by David Llewellyn [novel] Apr 22
Apollo 23 by Justin Richards [novel] Apr 22
The Forgotten Army by Brian Minchin [novel] Apr 22
Due June:
The Runaway Train by Oli Smith [audio] June 3
Due July:
Adorable Illusion by Gary Russell [novel]
The King's Dragon by Una McCormack [novel]
Unknown:
Nuclear Time by Oli Smith [novel] (author's website states "(2010, exact release date TBA)")
That's all for now folks.

Music used includes, Roses Theme, two tracks from the End Of Time and Song of Freedom. Oh, I've also moved the Ood to inside the TARDIS. The regeneration was quite difficult to rescore, so I felt that most of it should remain music free. I feel Tennants heavy breathing intenses the scene.
Sorry about the slight confusion at the beginning by the way. The Doctor does ask Rose what the year is, it doesn't make sense in my video.

Just a thought though.
David Tennant and Mat Smith - the two Doctors!
Wouldn't mind myself.

At one point in the final episode (I think) he did say 'you'll see me again' or something to that effect...
He said it too Wilf, and he was referring to Donnas wedding.

You're right there, Mharkin.
But it still leaves 1 David Tennant Doctor with 1 heart still 'alive' in an alternate earth which means there always exists a possibility for a future encounter none the less with Matt Smith's Dr.
Who knows?

Do you really think the only way Tennant can have a guest appearance in the future is via the human clone? This is a show about space and time. There are plenty of ways the real 10th Doctor can appear. The Doctor has met previous incarnations of himself. Most recently we've had the short episode Time Crash, where the 10th Doctor met the 5th Doctor. But it still leaves 1 David Tennant Doctor with 1 heart still 'alive' in an alternate earth which means there always exists a possibility for a future encounter none the less with Matt Smith's Dr.

Three-quarters of the way into the episode, the Eighth Doctor is traumatized (building up since the Time War, in fact), enough to be at the point of death, and he regenerates in front of the steerage-class family, the Eleventh Doctor, and said Doctor's companion... who is abruptly introduced to the concept of regeneration. After this, the Ninth Doctor works with the Eleventh for the rest of the episode, and, thanks to his work, the family is saved from the sinking of the Titanic (for this, they keep his alien origins a secret); as they leave the rescue ship at port, a photographer takes the Ninth Doctor's photograph, thus showing the harrowing circumstances that led up to its creation (and allowing Matt Smith's Doctor to partake in said events).
What do you all think?

The Sun has something to say about Pond. Just how truthful that story is...well, we won't know until the episode airs. I could sort of see it being true, but for the most part I'm just gonna go ahead and give a big no to this one.
Also, Torchwood rumors! But not quite what you'd expect...
Also, the Tybre likes this explanation, as opposed to accepting RTD making an immortal entity locked away in his tower Lord President:
It should be noted that at no point in The End of Time is it explicitly stated that the Rassilon in that story is the same individual as depicted previously. Just as English monarchs and Popes often share the names of previous monarchs and Popes, it's possible this Rassilon took his name from the Rassilon of old.
Ta ta for now.

You may be upset then. She certainly isn't a real policewoman. No costume department for a family show would get away with that hemline...!Hang onto your pants!

Unfortunately Eccleston will probably not be returning since he was really just doing it to relaunch the series with a "name" actor. I miss his doctor. You know what I would pay to see? An episode where the Eleventh Doctor lands the TARDIS on the Titanic, and ends up meeting the Eighth Doctor... [edit]
What do you all think?
(BTW: if anyone is coming to http://gallifreyone.com at the end of Feb I'm on a panel on Saturday: "Dear Mr. Moffat: What We Want (And Hope) from the Next Doctor Who Series")

The regeneration scene is so touching as well. The Doctors theme is amazing. It used to give me tears, now it just gives me goosebumps.

David Tennant, June Whitfield and Catherine Tate looked on as fellow cast member Bernard Cribbins said, pointing at Tennant: 'This is absolutely wonderful and I know how pleased he must be as he's been at it for four years and I think everybody who gets involved will be just as pleased as him, and I know that he will want to pay tribute to the team down in Wales.'
