I feel I've had my fill of Peter Parker.

How about Peter Porker?  ;)

Kind of disappointed they didn't give Aquaman a hook. Oh well, maybe he'll lose a hand in this movie.

To me, Vincent Chase will always be Aquaman.

Not that impressed with the look, to be honest. And everyone looking serious and angry, with washed out colours, does become one-note after a while.

I agree sharpshooter - the days of fun comic book movies seems to have gone now and I actually miss them. It's all doom and gloom and reality. Still excited for it, but I know what you mean.

I was thinking that I hope Zimmer makes a score full of hope and fun and excitement for these heroes rather than a melodramatic, gloomy and almost threatening score. John Williams - where are you.

I was hoping for Golden Age Aquaman a la Mermaid Man...

Welcome to modern superheroes 101.

I'm still trying to think of the last score John Williams has done that was actually great. Schindler's List comes to mind, and that was twenty years ago. Since then, he hasn't done much with his style (if there's any at all in this day).

A bit surprised Zack Snyder didn't add in a caption like he did with Aquaman, or add in a dark, gloomy background like he did with Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman.

Maybe he finally realized that we don't care and that we don't want our superhero movies to be mopey and depressing. What am I saying? BvS will probably be less humorous and more depressing than MoS could ever hope to be. Gee, can't wait for Justice Leagues Parts One and Tzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.....

On one hand we have the DC Universe films which are going to try and recreate the same dramatic and suspenseful tension Nolan did with his Batman trilogy along with being dark and gritty. On the other hand MCU which are just Michael Bay inspired superhero films loaded with quips, puns, and borderline pop culture references.

Yeah, I'm not too fond of superhero films anymore. Unless Guillermo del Toro does Hellboy 3, which is very highly unlikely given his schedule between Crimson Peak, Pacific Rim 2, and FX's The Strain, it's dead in the water.

At least there's a possibility (more of a rumor) that The Punisher is set to appear in Captain America: Civil War (also known as Avengers 2.5).

I doubt we'll see Frank Castle in Avengers 2.5, sorry Civil War. He has already had 2 terribly underrated movies and honestly I don't think he'd fit into the MCU. I agree that DC is trying to replicate what Nolan did. However, that became tiresome be the end of the second film. These are superhero movies, not war dramas. Even Batman could use a little humor. I'm not suggesting adding nipples to his suit or going apesh*t with puns, but a few light hearted moments here and there could be nice. Also, who wants a dark and mopey Superman movie? Aren't those supposed to be light hearted and fun?

Just wishful thinking. It'd be great to see him back on the screen, as he certainly wouldn't give a damn about the superhero registration act which will be part of Avengers 2.5. Then again, Marvel would just water down Castle, and that's something you just can't do to The Punisher.

Superman getting the Batman Begins/Dark Knight treatment is one of the biggest reasons I'll never take Goyer & Snyder's vision for the character seriously I just can't view Superman in that. They only believe it's the proper way to reinvent the character for a new era, but it isn't.

No, and quite frankly, it ruined Superman. The only thing that really intrigues me about BvS is Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman and yet (as usual seeing Marvel won't give us a Black Widow movie for some stupid reason) she is a secondary character after Superman and Batman.

I'm a little more curious about it because I'm interested in seeing how Batman is conveyed by Snyder/Goyer/Terio and acted by Affleck. Other than that, Gadot is the biggest reason I'm interested (she sure does rock that outfit ) and I'm curious to see how her solo film turns out.

Black Widow AND Hawkeye should've had their own films by now, but won't because while they are badass characters, Marvel and Feige don't deem them necessary for their own films.

But hey, Captain Marvel in November of 2018. It's Carol Danvers so I'm excited about that.

I do love Gal Gadot. I've said for awhile that she'd be perfect for a Bond movie.

EON definitely needs to get on that ASAP.

Then again Warner Bros/DC Comics pretty much took her soul. Doubt we'll ever see her in one now.

I approve of the Russo Brothers getting more Marvel films. Was very impressed with Cap 2 which, imo, was the best Marvel film so far other than Iron Man and Guardians of the Galaxy.

I believe Marvel's Netflix show(s) will not tie into the Film universe.

In the above article, Jeph Loeb is quoted as saying "It does take place in the Marvel cinematic universe. It's all connected."

Also, this is a link to the promotional "motion poster" in jpg form. Avengers Tower can been seen in the top right area.
