Ernie Hudson is rumored for a major role in Marvel's Black Panther.

Anyone else planning to watch Daredevil this weekend? I'm curious as to how much they try to gel everything with the movie universe.

I believe Marvel's Netflix show(s) will not tie into the Film universe.

In the above article, Jeph Loeb is quoted as saying "It does take place in the Marvel cinematic universe. It's all connected."[/size]

Also, this is a link to the promotional "motion poster" in jpg form. Avengers Tower can been seen in the top right area.

Another article talks about Daredevil's connection to Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

This sounds perfect for him. I'd love to see him get a high profile role such as this.

So would I.  Hopefully he'll get this as well as a role in the Tatum/Aykroyd Ghostbusters film that's looming on the horizon, which could help set him up for a career renaissance of sorts.  I'm not all that interested in Black Panther at the moment, but if Hudson were to land a role, I'd have to reconsider.

The man hasn't been in a good film since the first Miss Congeniality back in 2000... He needs this.

I'll be starting tomorrow afternoon - got my entire Saturday set to binge watch it! And I'm glad that early reviews are good.

Currently only seen the first episode. Wasn't really looking forward to it (due to being severely underwhelmed by Marvels CU films), but gave it a shot. The writing could be a little better and the acting is a little iffy in places (aside from Charlie Cox), but all in all, it's miles better than the 2003 film.

They've designed the costume and it will be different than any that we've seen.

How do they redesign the suit really?

after the last 3 spidey films i'm not particularly excited for it anymore. They better take their time and stop trying to jam 3 movies into each one.

yes it's fantastic! It was my favorite comic book back in the day...I'm on ep 10...I think it's best comic book show ever ( and I love Flash/Arrow) and maybe the best live action Marvel adaptation we've seen so far. The tone is perfect; the fights, atmosphere, cast and dialogue are very well done.

I think it might be the best Marvel adaptation as well. Really dynamic, mature television.

As for Ant Man...it looks alright. I'm still a bit sore that we aren't seeing Wright's film, but this looks entertaining enough to get me in a theater. The train bit is funny.

Six episodes in and it's the best thing Marvel has done by far. Tonally, it just doesn't really fit in their cinematic universe. Compared to their other films it's just dark & gritty (hate using those words).

'm still a bit sore that we aren't seeing Wright's film.

How do you know his film would've been better?

I don't, I just really enjoy his work and was looking forward to his take on a Marvel property.

that trailor looks fun. I expect this to be the sleeper(despite Marvel branding) hit of the summer.

I thought that Ant-Man looked pretty good.  I'm certainly more excited about that one than I am any of the other non-Iron Man Marvel films.

And, in other super hero news, Michelle MacLaren exits Wonder Woman.

I know I'm going to be disappointed again... but why doesn't Supes have the red undies anymore?!? Superman shouldn't be dark.

I know... which is one of many reasons I'm angry at the direction DC Comics is taking right now... I've resigned myself to re-reading my back catalogue of Batman until they make a change for the better.

I like the idea of Superman being viewed with fear and prejudice - and to have Batman fight the danger such an extraterrestrial force poses is a great idea.

Of course, this all seems like an even darker version of "Man of Steel", so any hope that this film lightens up a bit was naive on my part.

At first I thought that Batman´s voice is even more articially deepened than Bale´s growl was - but the more I think of it the more I like it.  Wouldn´t make sense to don a mask and cape to hide your identity, only to have your natural voice be heard by everyone.

So... yes, I like this teaser.  And I am looking forward to the movie.

Affleck was just about the only good thing about that teaser.  The plot implications the teaser sets forth don't really make all that much sense after the events of Man of Steel.  After Superman destroys about half of the city in the first film and then has a rather seemingly uneasy alliance with the government at the end of the film, and now we're at a point that he's reached the point of being revered as a god-like figure and has actually moved past that to actually having a massive statue of himself and soldiers bowing down to him?  Doesn't work, I'm afraid.

Affleck on the other hand, looks great so far.  His Batman looks very physically imposing.  And, I love the voice.  Takes the best of what Bale was attempting to do with his Batman voice without all of the overwhelming silliness that Bale brought to it.  It's a shame that there wasn't more footage of him, as he's the only worthwhile thing the film has going for it at this point.  Everything else appears to be very much what you'd expect from a Zack Snyder film, which is to say that it very much looks like an exercise in style over substance.

Still on the fence about this.. I thought Man Of Steel was VASTLY overrated and have pretty low expectations for this.. Plus the whole concept of Bats vs Supes, good guy vs good guy just insults me..
