Avengers: Age Of Ultron teaser launched:

http://www.youtube.c...h?v=tmeOjFno6Do

Looks like a good video game action romp.

Got a very "dark" feel to it and love the use of the 'Pinocchio' song "I Got Not Strings" used; very effective.

The CGI villains however just make me...ugh. I suppose that's the only way forward with something on this scale - CGI characters.

I thought the new Iron Man suit looked cool. I didn't care much for the first one but this has my interest.

The Hulk Buster?

All his suits look the same to me apart from that one! :P

Also - why make Hulk to be a threat again and anti-hero? They did that already.

To be honest, that's the only way to make Hulk effective. He's bland and boring as a hero - much better utilized as a villain/unstable threat. Now, if we ever get that Planet Hulk film... :D

Ultron doesn't resemble James Spader* at all...

Yes, but his voice... man, that was a great casting decision! One trailer and I'm convinced.

Agreed, 100%. Ultron is downright scary in that trailer. Wonder if James Spader can reach the level of one James Earl Jones with this role.

As for the trailer itself, it is very well done. I agree with you tcr, the use of "I Got No Strings" is superb especially with Spader's final line. Avengers: Age of Ultron looks to be a darker film than the first Avengers. Perhaps, it could even be the MCU's Empire Strikes Back.

I'd say the "Empire" comparison and darker look is fair, seeing as one or possibly more Avengers won't make it out alive.

God, I really dislike like when people compare "darker" sequels nowadays to Empire Strikes Back. Everyone I know did the same thing with Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes, and I couldn't but laugh.

Avengers: Age Of Ultron is nothing more than a further billion plus dollars for Marvel/Disney. I'll save my money for Guardians Of The Galaxy 2.

Well Ethan Hawke is set to appear in a biopic based on the life of Chet Baker, so I would say it's safe to say we can officially rule him out of the running to play to Doctor Strange, which is quite disappointing for me.

Keanu Reeves, from what I heard, Is in talks based on the critical acclaim his latest film, John Wick has garnered. Also worth noting that Joaquin Phoenix is back in discussions as well.

It appears the Benedict Cumberbatch has been as Marvel's Doctor Strange in the upcoming Scott Derrickson film (of the same name).

I'm actually, well, I'm split on this. I think Cumberbatch is a fine actor, but I just can't see him as Doctor Strange.

I saw this as well. I think I'll reserve judgment until I see the finished product, because I don't want my personal like for his work to cloud my perception of his performance.

I just have a hard time seeing him, physically as Strange, though he does have a perfect voice for the character. Having said that, with Scott Derrickson directing, I have faith that he'll do justice to the character.

Annoyingly, no Planet Hulk or Black Widow films. Also, no Iron Man 4, although Cap 3 seems like it will be more Captain America vs. Iron Man than a true separate film.

I wouldn't have guessed they would have caved so fast and added Iron Man to the roaster to compete with BvS.

I believe that was their plan all along, though - with or without BvS. Iron Man is essential to the Civil War story arc.

Seconded. I think Marvel had this plan laid out far longer than DC had their plan.

Speaking of Superman v Batman, DC really has some catching up to do and throwing every hero into a sequel to a, quite frankly underwhelming first film seems as if DC has already gone into panic mode. Just call the damn thing JLA and be done with it.

I guarantee that BvS is not cramping a bunch of heroes together as the focus is batman and superman. Wonder Woman is going to have Black Widow treatment for IM2.........The flash/aquama/cyborg  is likely to have small cameo perhaps not even appear

I'm actually looking forward to the Marvel Civil War film(s). I think if done right it could be good, then again I don't like Marvel's track record, so I'll hold out for Guardians Of The Galaxy 2.

Spiderman (2002)

The film opens with Peter Parker (Tobey McGuire) to being bit by a spider and getting his powers. We see that he uses his powers to beat up Flash. I completely forgot that Flash even made an appearance in this film. Mary Jane is the romantic love interest in this trilogy (played by Kirsten Dunst). William Defoe plays Norman Osborne and becomes the Green Goblin after being gassed with a serum of sorts that would allow him to become stronger. He tested himself after the trials and the evidence didn't look promising. This gas basically made him become insane and he stole the glider and became the Green Goblin. Harry Osborne (James Franco) makes an appearance and he really does play the part well. James Franco easily plays this part well.

Tobey McGuire does seem to fit the role of Peter Parker. He is gauky (especially in the beginning we see that Peter is running to catch up to the bus and even at the field trip in the beginning of the film, Peter awkwardly tries to get Mary Jane's picture) Peter Parker isn't supposed to be "sexy" or "extremely good looking" I feel like Andrew Garfield has those qualities so him playing Spiderman isn't as realistic.

William Defoe is actually really great as a villain. He kind of reminded me of the Joker because he would tease Spiderman and it made it seem like they were equal to each other. Easily this is a better portrayal of the Green Goblin than the Amazing Spiderman 2.

One thing that really bugged me about this movie was actually Mary Jane Watson. I have nothing against Kirsten Dunst at all. I think she is a fine actress but her portrayal of Mary Jane just seemed rather annoying to me.

After watching this first Spiderman movie, I actually really enjoyed it! It doesn't really change my opinion about the other Amazing Spiderman movies (except that this movie makes the Amazing Spiderman 2 much worse) I thought Tobey McGuire did a good job! I really loved James Franco's character in the story and William Defoe did a really good Green Goblin.

I need to try the older 'Spider-Man' films again. As I actually really liked 'TASM2', more than any others, maybe I need to try again.
