I'm so pleased Batfleck is winning me over and knocking down my apprehensions based on nothing except not being a big fan of his older work - maybe it's time to try and discover some of his more modern approach to film-making/acting...?

Never thought I'd say that...!

There a very good chance that Affleck will direct a solo batman film in the future......he has done some directing in crime film so batman will work.......hopefully adding that detective element that lacks in Nolan batman films

Agreed. Seems like they are being as serious as they can with a character ripe for parody. Hoping for a good film.

Costume Designer for Batman vs. Superman: Dawn Of Justice, Michael Wilkinson, said Supes outfit in this film would be different that of the one in Man Of Steel. After looking at the latest set picture, the suit looks exactly the same. Unless Supes does a switch-a-roo during the film like Batman.

Who knows.

I also see a difference. The new suit is more of a Golden Age-esque royal blue than the navy blue of MOS. The shield appears to be a brighter red too.

I thought it looked brighter as well.

Hopefully this doesn't turn out to be the case.  The trio of Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman is more than enough for this one film.  I'd actually prefer it if they cut Wonder Woman from Batman v Superman and introduced her in her own film and let Batman v Superman be just what it says on the tin.  Beyond that, though, adding the likes of Flash, Aquaman, and whatever others that have been rumored to be in play for this film just seems like far too much.

I'm afraid that DC and Warner Bros. are feeling a huge case of Marvel-envy at the moment. The rush into a Justice League film is obvious. While not all of the films are of the original Iron Man quality, at least the Marvel Cinematic Universe took time to introduce and develop individual characters before the big team-up. Granted, you don't really need to set up the Big 3... but saving the lower-tier members of the League for solo efforts in order to endear them to audiences would be a better strategy.

BvS is setting up some origin for WW and batman..........no need to go that deep as that can be established later......DC do not want to copy Marvel so this is a different strategy

It really should just be the two that are advertised in the film's title, Batman and Superman, IMO.  Wonder Woman really should have her own origin film and then join up with everybody in Justice League.  It seems to me that they're just trying to shoe-horn in Wonder Woman's origin into a film it really shouldn't be a part of just so that they don't take the financial risk of actually making a Wonder Woman film.

It's a pretty sad state of affairs when there's no guarantee that the 3rd biggest character in DC comics could have a successful solo movie...

Scoot McNairy is playing Daily Planet Reporter, Jimmy Olson, at least that's what the latest rumor is now. I doubt he's playing Flash though.

So, it looks like Jesse Eisenberg may have shaved his head for Lex Luthor. I still have doubts because of his age, but at least he might be trying to go for the character's signature look.

I have doubts on this too.. but I won't judge until I see a trailer with him in it.

If the Jesse Eisenberg from The Social Network shows up, then I'm all for it. If the Jesse Eisenberg from Zombieland or 30 Minutes Or Less shows up instead, I'm going to be massively disappointed. Surely there's a difference of genre's between the films, but honestly he's a better actor when given something with layers and something very well written. Then again, I'm not saying that Aaron Sorkin needs to start writing comedies either. I guess what I'm trying to say is that I like Eisenberg better when he's a dramatic actor.

Well stated. I loved the social network and Jesse Eisenberg was fantastic as the main role.

Eisenberg is actually one of few actors I see quite a lot of potential in and I would love to see him reunite with David Fincher in the future on another film.

I'm down for it. Hopefully it does better than Hercules did.
