Nolan and Bale's films were so good I sure wish there had been 4 instead of 3. I remember when BATMAN BEGINS came out there was a promise of so much there. When the third one came out I figured they would need to wait 10 years before a reboot because those films were so good. To me, if they do Justice League and stick a new Batman in there and ignore those three films it's going to be confusing to the audience, and I don't expect Justice league to come close to Avengers. They need to do each film one at a time, like Wonder Woman, and if it's working , then do JL. After Batman and Superman, i'm just not sure there's a huge market for DC characters. Look what happened with Green Lantern.

Marvel had to introduce their characters with their own movies as Iron Man and Thor weren't necessarily as recognizable in the public eye as most of the DC characters, especially Superman and Batman (thanks to countless TV shows and movies.) DC doesn't really need to introduce each character again, especially Batman, as the public is pretty familiar with him. Green Lantern, as bad as it is, at least made the character recognizable to the layman. The only movie they really need to do is Wonder Woman. They'll probably try to capitalize on the momentum of Superman first with a Man of Steel sequel. If they do a solid Justice League movie, and then they can have spin off movies for the other characters, like Flash. Otherwise, they're risking $150-200M on reboots that would only kill interest in a JL movie if they fail, and not add that much interest to it if they succeed.

Agreed. If they're going to do a Justice League film, then they might as well just go ahead and do it. It would also be a good way to launch the next Batman actor rather than having to go through another origin film. They can introduce Wonder Woman and whoever else in Justice League and then gauge reaction to the various characters in the film to see which ones could potentially be viable franchises on their own.

I think they can easily find a new Batman though so I am not worried about that. I think they need to figure out the Green Lantern though.

Ryan Reynolds about Deadpool:
“That movie is alive and kicking, and then it’s dead as a doornail. Then it’s alive and kicking and then it’s dead… it’s like the worst relationship I’ve ever had!” “The character knows he’s a comic-book character, he knows he’s in a film, he knows who the executives are at the studio making the movie,”
Whatever that means. I wonder if Marvel doesn`t have faith in Reynolds after he played the Green Lantern for D.C. comics and it didn`t do so well.

I wouldn't be surprised if Marvel had doubts about Reynolds' ability to headline one of their franchises. Outside of his surprisingly good turn in the indie film Buried, Reynolds has yet to demonstrate any ability to headline a film. He's OK as a supporting actor or as a comedic co-lead, but when left on his own to carry a film, he's most often not up to the task

Rumours are now rampant about Vin Diesel in talks with Marvel about his involvement in the future of the comic adaptations...'The Avengers 2' and 'Giant Man' are top of the list....
"Marvel meeting today, Diesel writes. "Only the people in the room can tell you what was discussed...P.s. Thanks to Our page, for pushing to make it happen... you know I get tunnel vision with my work... and after that meeting today... wow!"

Another lackluster film poster...

....that's not the film poster, that's just the promo for Electro.
Looks a super visual villain, far greater than CGI Lizard.

I was talking about Captain America. I think I can tell the differences between a poster and a promo shot. Think before next time...

Well yeah, or next time mention what you were referencing in your post 2/3 behind what you meant! Although the promo shot could easily be a teaser poster - just have the heads facing eachother and that would sell it.
And c'mon, the teaser poster isn't that bad, it teases Captain America and that's what it should do. Seems the sheild is a bit battered so is this another film where the hero reaches rock bottom from a force he couldn't possibly destroy....? Ooooooh.....

I said "film poster" referring to Captain America: The Winter Soldier. If I was to say "promo shot", I'd be referring to The Amazing Spider-Man 2. Unless you thought the promo shot is/was a teaser a poster, which it isn't, then move along.
The poster is bad, A shield with paint scratched off it. Wow, it's so cool, in fact it gets poster of the year! It's a poster shot that we've seen a thousand time with other films, not that inspiring at all.

Yeah, he's got a very defining look as a super-villain so I will give this some positive interest. Nice look he has to his skull, looks really painful/dangerous!

Haha, good one! "Ice to see you," and all that.
Now regarding 'X-Men: Days Of Future Past', it seems we have a brief synopsis to go on...
"Ellen Page returns as Kitty from the Brett Ratner–directed X-Men: The Last Stand, but this time she uses her powers to send Hugh Jackman's Wolverine back into the past, where he encounters the younger mutants played by James McAvoy, Jennifer Lawrence, and Michael Fassbender. However, something bad happens to Kitty during the time-travel trance, and while Wolverine is still under her spell, the other X-Men must race to find a mutant who can siphon Kitty's powers and bring their friend back to the future."
Read this as you will....but I hope it's not yet another Wolverine heavy story....!

Marvel wants Joseph Gordon-Levitt as DOCTOR STRANGE!?!?
Get ready for a week of comic book movie news as Comic-Con is getting ready to invade San Diego, CA this Thursday. So what better way to kick the week off than with a DOCTOR STRANGE movie rumor? According to Latino-Review, Marvel executives are discussing the possibility of offering Joseph Gordon-Levitt the role of the comic sorcerer.
Obviously this far from JGL actually signing on to star as Doctor Strange and the odds are that somebody else will ultimately end up with the role. But, JGL is hot right now after his role in THE DARK KNIGHT RISES and he fits exactly what Marvel is looking for with this role. What do you guys think? Is Joseph Gordon-Levitt a good fit for Doctor Strange? If not who do you have in mind? Stay tuned as most people are expecting Marvel to officially announce the DOCTOR STRANGE film this weekend at Comic-Con.

I totally missed the X-Men Days Of Future Past snip it. Its certainly wont be another Wolverine film though THE WOLVERINE might but I don't think it will be that bad.

X-Men Origins: Wolverine, was Logan becoming Wolverine and adapting to his newfound power and such. The Wolverine is the Japan Saga with Logan having his powers stripped from him and struggling to gain them back and become the animal he once was. Nearly two different films.

Some reviews for 'The Wolverine' dripping in after the premier lastnight...
TOTAL FILM: The good news? An improvement on Origins. The bad? Not as big an improvement as you were hoping for: perfectly decent, but ponderous too.
http://www.totalfilm...a/the-wolverine
EMPIRE: An improvement on the last outing for Jackman’s not-so-merry mutant. If only it trusted enough in its unique setting to forgo a descent into aggressively awful formula.
http://www.empireonl....asp?FID=137280
HEYUGUYS: All in, The Wolverine is a refreshingly good entry in the X-Men franchise that completely wipes out the nasty taste Origins: Wolverine left. In fact, it might very well be the best of the bunch.
http://www.heyuguys....m_campaign=news
THE TELEGRAPH: Starring Hugh Jackman, this is a superhero film that is rather joyless and somewhat daft
http://www.telegraph...ine-review.html
DEN OF GEEK: The best gift 'The Wolverine' gives is a simple one; that you'll leave the cinema wanting to see more of the character.
http://www.denofgeek...olverine-review
DIGITAL SPY: As it stands, this is an interesting if flawed exploration of the X-Men universe's favourite son.
