Hmm interesting.... I would like to see an X-Men in the Avengers that would be really cool.

Skyfall, sadly, is no longer the 007th highest grossing film of all-time as IM3 has knocked it into the eighth spot.

I can't believe 'Iron Man 3' is at number 5... just shows how much tickets are nowadays for IMAX and 3D alone.... its not billion-dollar good, is it?!
Also, we have a new TV spot for 'Man Of Steel'...

...and in 'The Amazing Spider-Man 2', on-set images of a pre-CGI suited Rhino...
Will this be an Alien-esque CGI shell Rhino has or what...interesting....

It's billion dollar S***.

It doesn't have to be billion dollar good. Look at The Dark Knight Rises and The Phantom Menace...and Avatar. That film grossed nearly $3 billion and it was a total snoozefest.

Phantom Menace is enjoyable for me, simply because of the fact Liam Neeson looked like Jesus and Darth Maul. The last Star Wars film I enjoyed to an extent and the last I'll ever see.

Good god, a CGI suit?!
The Amazing Spider-Man was okay, wasn't anything new, in fact it wasn't that great at all. The sequel will probably fall in the same fate.

The CGI villains put me off - I like a sense of realism, of danger and of seing real actors/stunt men take the falls and actually act.
CGI suits etc where we can't see or feel the actor and emotion turns me right off as if I'm playing a game instead. Hence in 'TAS', having a masked CGI Spidey battle a CGI lizard did nothing for me. Spiderman falls to that trap of not being able to see the actor anyway so they can do more CGI than normal with him. Hence when I liked the Batman trilogy, having real villains and actors in their roles.

Well I disagree with all of you, I loved the Amazing Spiderman and I thought it was awesome! So I am definitely excited for the 2nd one.

Agreed there. I loved the cast of TASM, but not much else. The film isn't great and certainly not bad. It's just kind of meh.

I only cared for Denis Leary, but that's because I love him in general. Emma Stone on the other hand, good grief.
What?! I love Emma Stone.
How can you not love this?

She can't act, and her face *Shudders*. She's just an absolute zero.

She was pretty smouldering in 'Gangster Squad', before I saw her in 'TASM'. Not a bad bit of talent - not GREAT, but I've seen worse!

Same here. And I do think Emma Stone is terrific. I saw her for the first time in "Crazy Stupid Love", then in "The Help" - she´s definitely a great actress who can do drama and comedy.

Yes. An absolute zero.
I hope by "shudders" you mean her face makes you weak in the knees.

By "shudders" I'm saying she isn't attractive, or remotely good looking. For a lack of better words, she's ugly.
The fact everyone is so smitten by her, baffles me.

Sarcasm as usual from you.

I'm sorry, but how can you possibly describe her as 'not remotely good looking'? I can understand if she's not your "type," but calling her 'ugly' is one of the most ridiculous things I've read on here in a long time.

Have you ever heard of an opinion?

Have you ever heard of an opinion?
I have. I've also heard of the difference between having an opinion and completely belittling someone by calling them an "absolute zero" because you don't find them attractive.
#324
Posted 29 May 2013 - 05:49 PM
Well It's my opinion, be hurt or baffled by it if you want. I don't her attractive, I don't think she can act, I'm not smitten by her, and quite frankly I don't like her.
Not everyone has to fall in line to "like" her. I am not falling in that line. Never have, and never will. I have different views and outlooks on may things that I realize is hard for many, whether it's here or in general, to grasp or process. Do I need to go further? Oh and as for "Absolute Zero", that was targeted for her looks. I'm sure she's a nice person

Can we get back to talking about superhero movies instead of whining about disliking everyone's opinions!?
#326
Posted 29 May 2013 - 05:57 PM
I would very much like that as well, instead of bickering about someones looks, because someone feels objected to it, or baffled, or hurt. I just simply stated how I feel, like many do, take it or leave it.

That's a lot of photoshop for one picture.
Saw this one online and thought it was pretty cool

(I know that...just playing dumb!)
Lots of talk on the web regarding an X-Men / Avengers cross-over with the 'Days Of Future Past' team as well. I think that would be pretty amazing to see.
