The image on the right looks a lot more attractive and appealing. I would surely be drawn to that if I saw it. I can't say the same for the final art.

Looks utterly brilliant. Graphics way beyond any Wii game I've seen, tight, exciting, COD style action, awesome first person CQC and some really brilliant voice acting. Seriously, I can actually see the relationship between 00's 7 and 6. And the use of lower tones and hushed voices, rarely used in games, gives it a great, stealthy covert feel. This looks good... VERY good.
Although I do hope they don;t use those computer screens to try and tell the whole story, like what completely mangled QOS.

Oddjob and Jaws listed amongst the character dossiers on the official site...
Please, please GOD don't tell me they'll be using "classic" villains in story mode! That would uttely destroy any narrative credibility or canonical presence of the entirer game! Like when Jaws first popped up opposite Brosnan in EON, and an already ailing game dropped of the bottom of the cartoon-o-meter and died hoplessly. This is the most promising Bond game in years, more even than Bloodstone, please don't let this homogenised, EA hangover crap rob us of a great succesor to GoldenEye...

"We're going to be revealing classic characters later on in the campaign..."

Perhaps he was referring to the marketing campaign as opposed to the single player? They seem to be promoting the "8 CLASSIC CHARACTERS!!!!" quite a lot, I wouldn't be surprised if we get a trailer with that same old music in the coming weeks showcasing more of the characters. It does seem a shame though that he mentions 40 playable characters, the majority of them are likely to be just soliders and "men in suits" again.

I just hope the "classic" and "nostaligic" elements don't seep into the main game and poison it. Sure, classic out the MP mode, it is after all free of any story or canon and is all about the fun, but if you're going to the effort of writing a serious story for the main game (Bruce Feirsteins godawful track record notwithstanding) don't mix the two up!
As EON proved- never mix your Bond eras. They are all unique and different and loved for thier own merits. Piling them all together is like surgically grafting all the Bond girls into one mass of flesh- it takes away what we loved and makes something messy and foul that is unlikely to cause any erections.

Recut Multiplayer trailer with a looks at 2 new maps: Outpost (Siberia) and Docks (definitely QoS Haitian docks). I kind of want to see more on the single player game.
How come I don't recognize a single one of those "iconic" weapons, nor can I guess what they might be?
Also, I'm worried about this new multi-player maps. Moreover, I'm worried about Facility. It looks like the map takes place in the room where you plant the mines. They wouldn't dare name it facility and only have it that room. Especially since QOS had a pretty great facility rip off that used a lot of the same architecture. At least I hope they wouldn't call it "facility" and then it not be anything of facility at all.
I just want the bunker. Man that multi-player level is underrated. For the remake, the only similarities I demand are a room with jail cells and stairs somewhere that lead to a small outdoor portion.

This really sounds like they've got the perfect Bond recipe in game format. Even the tank section sounds like the kind of fun diversion vehicle sections in Bond games have singularly failed to be. And the graphics are really showing that the Wii DOES have a bit more juice under the hood than the Gamecube.
Although, the relfective floor in the kitchen screenshot doesn't reflect the enemies, so clearly the game features vampires.
