A few things,
1. I'm not a troll. I do jump into conversations abruptly...
Yeah, that's trolling. You just randomly talk about what the hell comes to your mind, and not sticking to the thread topic.
Of course I apologize Mharkin Jimmy and Matt if it's not up to your standards. you want trolls got to IMDB and try and have a decent conversation. Let me know how it goes I'm sure your account will be incredibly amusing.
I have an IMDB account, and I think it's awful, which is why I'm on here. Even though I find this the better place, you still can't escape trolls, though.
With Boris I got confused by people talking of music cues.
What the hell. They're totally different things...
And Matt you said "No word on Natalya" Which is where I'm wondering Ok she is a major part of the story
Just because we haven't heard about Natalya, doesn't mean that she's not in the final game.
I find it alarming that someone of your intellect Mharkin is stubborn rude and an absolute jerk.
Thank you. You're a troll. To be honest, I've been patient with you for far too long. You've brought this on yourself. You said you'd improve your grammar, and look, you haven't. So yeah. Nearly everyone on here agree's with me. Why don't you post properly, and not like a 12 year old. Then maybe you'll get some respect around here. Just a thought.
I'm putting you on ignore...
Be my guest. If you reply to this, or read this, then you obviously haven't.

John Altman is the composer you are thinking of.I know I'm in the minority, but I love Arnold's work. While it will never match Barry, it's always fun and exciting. Take the boat chase in The World Is Not Enough for example. Arnold's music adds excitement to the scene. This is what GoldenEye needed. Don't get me wrong - Arnold has had his fair share of rubbish too (see the entire Die Another Day score, save for a cue or two), but overall I've enjoyed what he's done. His work on Tomorrow Never Dies, Casino Royale, and Quantum has been excellent. The World Is Not Enough wasn't bad for the most part, like the aforementioned chase scene. Too much electronic stuff in other places for my liking.
To me, the main thing GoldenEye was missing, especially as a comeback film of sorts, was an instantly recognizable version of the Bond theme. Serra was clever in the way he incorporated it with electronic instruments and percussion, but it was almost hidden when it shouldn't have been. The tank chase (can't remember the composer at the moment) was an attempt to correct that, but even that cue only had a few bars of it.
While Arnold at times has given us too much Bond theme (Die Another Day), GoldenEye seemed to cry out for it.

I agree with your comments. I rarely listen to the GoldenEye score outside of the movie. I do like The Goldeneye Overture & think it's tone fits the film well. I also like what Serra did with the Bond theme in the gunbarrel. Where he falls short, is in his lack of taking what he started with in the gunbarrel & using it through the rest of the movie. It definitely doesn't need to be over the top but incorporating it in a few key scenes would have made a big difference.

Maybe he can´t express himself any better and I am not being sarcastic. He might feel like a troll at times, but at least, he isn´t mean and this is normally what trolls are. Bashing all and everything, which is worse IMO then appearing to be sorta naive.
He´s been on both boards forever and I never saw a change of tone in his posts, which does lead to the conclusion, that this is just the only way he knows. Just my two...of course, we never know for sure. Its the net after all.

I do agree, as I said in my previous post Serra was very clever with his use of it. It was original, especially for a Bond film. My point is simply that after a six year gap, it would have been nice to hear the classic Bond theme at least once in the film. I also admitted that Arnold relied on it way too much in the Brosnan films. However, it would have been nice to have a classic rendition in GoldenEye.GOLDENEYE's timpani version of the Bond theme from Serra's cue, "The GoldenEye Overture," is a heck of a lot cooler than any of Arnold's many renditions of the Bond theme.
I just don't think it need it by any means. As I said before, the film was cool, stark and rather minimalist in its aesthetics, and the score fitted that like a glove. A typical crass Arnold interpretation of the Bond theme would have just sounded like it was tracked in from another Bond film, by another composer.
I picture a score much like the Casino Royale one.
I want to puke even thinking about that. I can only take a couple of 20-30 second moments from that score, but the rest of it is just messy, poorly scored, generic filler. Particularly what accompanies the Miami airport, stairwell, car flip and sinking house action sequences.

But in the original Goldeneye we had access to two level inspired by two Roger Moore Bond movies, Temple and Drax HQ. Nobody said anything at the time and i guess they could not had Roger Moore due to licensing issues. If you remenber Early screenshot of Goldeneye had different Bond actors in the multiplayers.
I guess we should stop complaining and just wait to see what the final game will be.
At least with all the talent involved, they are trying their best...

The Complex was the most popular multiplayer level in the original GoldenEye 007, but while readers have been commenting on recent previews with, "As long as it has The Complex," I haven't seen any other E3 journalist mention the information I'm about to declassify: The Complex won't be a part of Activision's updated GoldenEye. I made sure to ask the important question during our short demo session.
"Do you have The Complex?" I asked, certain that I'd get an "Are you kidding me?! Absolutely!"
"No," Pinkney revealed, to my surprise. When I asked why the original game's top multiplayer level was being left out, she said, "Because it's not part of the film."
"Oh. Okay... So, it's not part of multiplayer?" I asked again, just to make sure I got the quote right. "No... we have Statue Park!" she said hesitantly, followed by a motivating attempt at reassurance. "No other multiplayer game has a Statue Park level."

I might have. Look honestly I thought Quantum of Solace was better then most of EA's output the only one i'd argue is better is The world is not enough and Nightfire (that opening level is just too dam cool) But I feel it's on par with EONI'm actually getting more and more excited about this.

Goldeneye looks very cool and give me a bond game to be excited about. I always think the next one is the best. Why I like to be hopeful I fail to see why i should assume the worst.

No problems Quantum. I enjoy that kind of fan enthusiasm. I always hope/expect/predict the "next one" (whether it be book, game, or film) will be the best one yet. Sometimes I'm even right.
But with all the reviews Goldeneye looks like what they promised Quantum of solace was supposed to be (most notably choosing between stealth and hard core action)
Plus there is at least one driving level (though I'd love if they include the race with Xenia as a level)
And Valentin's Club becoming a level intrigues me.
If they include Monte Carlo and you get to play Hold Em as bond Goldeneye 2010 will be my favorite bond game period

You know they're not going to put Hold 'Em in there. It wasnt in the movie.
this is goldeneye as craig's film and he is more known for playing Hold 'Em so it may be the game of choice.

He's only played cards in ONE film. I really can't see how he is popular for playing it.
so he has played hold 'em in half of his films

I remember the card game in the 'The World Is Not Enough' game, which was heavily simplified, asking the gamer to get as nearest to 21 as possible. Anyone can do that, but expecting someone to have a full knowledge of poker, or any other card game, is just too much to ask.

If I had to gamble a year ago that I would be excited about a Goldeneye remake staring Daniel Craig I would have lost.
