It;s Mid September should we have offical confirmation or debunking lol.

I hope we don't all have to wait till the 29th of October to find out if it's true or not.

We'll know if it's true soon enough.

though the debate as to wether it's true or not is rather facinating.

If this ending that he mentions is indeed true then it would leave a perfect opening to bring in a new M, and reintroduce Q and Moneypenny!! Also if Bond does leave the service then they could make Bond regain Double-O status and throw in his two kills from the novels.

Just a thought

If Bond leaves the service and then returns, he wouldn't have to make his two kills again. MI6 already know he can do it, so there's no point in doing them again simply to have Bond do the two kills from the book. Those two assassinations were products of the time the book was written, and so had to be adapted for the film.

Also, it is hardly the "perfect opportunity" to bring in a new M. The only time I can see M being in a position to be replaced is one film after Bond has finally earned her trust. This is because he needs to consistently show he is trustworthy, and beause if M is replaced before she trusts Bond, we'll just go though the whole I-need-to-know-I-can-trust-you thing with her successor, and then you'll all be bitching about that,

It is. At the time of Casino Royale's ending, Bond has only been a Double-Oh for a month, thereby making "everything he's seen over the last few months" an impossibility.

Have been lurking for a while with interest and I really have no idea how legit this review is (although I think it sounds rather good!) but he did write and I quote:

which the new article in the QoS forum seems to confirm: http://debrief.comma...showtopic=49383
So I suppose that's one point in his favour.

This would be one hell of a thing for YOLT to make up and then turn out to be true.
I’m gong to stick my neck out and say his review is true.

I think it's true and today's news confirmed it. However if it doesn't turn out to be true i hope noone makes fun of me for being lead astray :(

This is my first post here, but I wanted to point out something I noticed in the trailer that might make Camille's death unlikely.

You notice in the first shot of the trailer, behind the figure standing in the desert, there are some faint tire tracks. It is my assumption that this scene takes place immediately after the scene where Camille tells Bond "I want to save you, but your prison is in there." From there, you can take that Camille abandons Bond in the desert after she decides revenge has consumed him. This would also require, obviously, that Greene be killed.

I apologize if this has been mentioned and/or debunked somewhere else. Personally, I like just about every aspect of the film as Yolt describes it, except for the fact that Greene survives (I'm a big fan of elaborate final battles/death scenes).

which would be interesting if Greene is killed in the opening Sequnce of 23.

If YOLT is right. many will love it of course if he is right the debate specultaion and rumour betwen now and 2010 i suspect will be HUGE.

I'm happy if YOLT is right so i'm hoping he is and i belive he is which makes me happy.

so happy :(

which this would be for another thread entirely if YOLT is right perhaps bond 23 will be The Property of lady the title reffering to bond becoming 007 (once again) to protect future Vespers and Camilies from falling from grace.

Yeah, some of the details were bit uneven, but I am tempted to believe it, even though I cannot get/solve some of the things mentioned/not mentioned. The bit about the plane also rang true with some of what we know now(the fuselage tilting etc...) The good thing is it is only a matter of weeks before finding out. :(

That's a very interesting concept. We normally see Bond getting involved at a late stage in someone's evil plans, seeing him as a protector/vigilante figure would be fascinating.

Just a general i dea ihad if i were Michael G wilson what i'd do does this mean this is what will happen maybe maybe not. for all we know we'll get a revenge story with Risico as the title.

it just seems to me the way to complete the "trilogy" without a revenge story in volces Bond accepting role as sort of "protector" of england and of life. That sometimes you must kill one man to save millions it's a dirty job but Bond has to do it. and then for 2012 the 50 year annvesery we get a sort of "standard misson" (possibly involing quantum possibly not) and you move on from there. and in 3 films you explain how bond became the bond we know and love from Dr No through Die another day the more experiecned man who does what he has to.

Also, look in the tracklisting for the soundtrack. Oil Fields is the name of a track.

Looks like this review was 100% true. Fields obviously gets burnt to death.

Not shocking. The first scene in the theatrical trailer was Greene being abandoned in the desert. That definitely counts in YOLT's review's favor, same with a lot of other details. I'm just confused over how he got the Elvis thing so wrong, and as to how the finale could really play out in the way YOLT describes it happening.

Wow thanks. No sign of Camille getting her revenge :(

Well, Camille doesn't want her revenge on Greene. She wants it on Medrano, and that's who she goes after (and fights with) in the finale.

Also, look in the tracklisting for the soundtrack. Oil Fields is the name of a track.

Well, we've known that for a while. Long before YOLT's review.
