Think INDIANA JONES 4 is going to be the last Indiana Jones film? Yeah, well, think again.

I'm not sure that signing a contract for three films means they have plans to make three more films- it could just be a precaution in case they want to do any more in the future.
Maybe. No idea how these things work. However, I did read a similar rumour (on an Indy fansite, I think) a few weeks back, to the effect that two more films with Ford were planned. Oh, well, time will tell.
Rumor squashed by Lucasfilm.

Still, George Lucas is involved here, so a fifth and sixth might be expected. And subsequently whined about tirelessly by online fanboys.
EDIT: Oh, nevermind. S'pose fanboys will have to be content with messily dissecting just one Indy sequel that's separate from the originals.

Not quite.Rumor squashed by Lucasfilm.

CHUD.com (by far the most reliable INDY 4 source at this point) and IESB.net have both reported this to be true, IESB has gone so far as to say that Lucasfilm is just denying the truth (which would be expected... Lucasfilm wouldn't come out and say that they have a LeBeouf franchise in the works until people really expect it).
So take that for what it's worth.

I was there yesterday. It was fantastic! I felt like I saw more in that one panel than I have in all past Comic Con panels combined. As exciting as the Indy moment was, I think the Iron Man footage stole the show. It really looked awesome.Too right.

Paramount gave out lots of swag including a VERY nice Indy 4 teaser program.

EON really needs to take notes on how to hype up a movie before the release date from Indy 4.

The cast all looks amazing, seeing Harrison again in the costume is something very cool. Miss Allen is looking good too, the movie is going to make history.

Anyway, the Ark of the Covenant rumor is nothing new. Rumors have said that it would be the macguffin of the opening sequence for a while now (Indy is looking to reclaim the Ark from the government, apparently, but gets caught in the act).
Sounds like INDY IV is really quite the RAIDERS throw-back, with the Ark and Marion and Abner. But at the same time, the film also seems to be boldly treading into new territory. It'll be an interesting film to watch.

don't look directly at it...The Ark. If it is in Indy IV, then it is something that man was not meant to disturb. Death has always surrounded it. It is not of this earth...
