Maybe. No idea how these things work. However, I did read a similar rumour (on an Indy fansite, I think) a few weeks back, to the effect that two more films with Ford were planned. Oh, well, time will tell.

Think INDIANA JONES 4 is going to be the last Indiana Jones film? Yeah, well, think again.

http://www.iesb.net/...c...6&Itemid=99

I'm not sure that signing a contract for three films means they have plans to make three more films- it could just be a precaution in case they want to do any more in the future.

Rumor squashed by Lucasfilm.

Hmmm...doesn't seem to make much sense to me. After eighteen years between the third and fourth, the anticipation and excitement might be lost when a fifth and sixth are released (no doubt within a few years after Indy IV). After years of waiting, I've grown accustomed to the idea of Indy IV being "one last hurrah" for Dr. Jones.

Still, George Lucas is involved here, so a fifth and sixth might be expected. And subsequently whined about tirelessly by online fanboys.

EDIT: Oh, nevermind. S'pose fanboys will have to be content with messily dissecting just one Indy sequel that's separate from the originals.

Not quite.

CHUD.com (by far the most reliable INDY 4 source at this point) and IESB.net have both reported this to be true, IESB has gone so far as to say that Lucasfilm is just denying the truth (which would be expected... Lucasfilm wouldn't come out and say that they have a LeBeouf franchise in the works until people really expect it).

So take that for what it's worth.

Whatever happened to Lucas wanting to get back to those small-scale films? I guess Indiana Jones films are smaller scale compared with the Star Wars series.

I still reckon that they probably have got them to sgn up to more possible films in the future in case they decide to make them, but have no definite plans to do so, and that's where this stuff's come from. Someone in the contracts department mentioned what came across their desk to a chum and that's it.

After all these years Karen Allen looks as incredible as Ford does!

Here's a clearer pic: Karen Allen

I know, right? On the G4 coverage, I was pretty shocked. From that distance you couldn't even tell she'd aged! :cooltongue:

Great to see Marion back. If Indy was to end up with anyone, it needed to be her.

I was there yesterday. It was fantastic! I felt like I saw more in that one panel than I have in all past Comic Con panels combined. As exciting as the Indy moment was, I think the Iron Man footage stole the show. It really looked awesome.

Paramount gave out lots of swag including a VERY nice Indy 4 teaser program.

Video of the Indy 4 segment

EON really needs to take notes on how to hype up a movie before the release date from Indy 4.

amazing video, thank you very much! :cooltongue:

The cast all looks amazing, seeing Harrison again in the costume is something very cool. Miss Allen is looking good too, the movie is going to make history.

Check out this very interesting article on TherRaider.net (possibly a spoiler). Thus far, Indy 4's web campaign has been stellar!

Seems like they're taking a page from THE DARK KNIGHT's advertising campaign.

Anyway, the Ark of the Covenant rumor is nothing new. Rumors have said that it would be the macguffin of the opening sequence for a while now (Indy is looking to reclaim the Ark from the government, apparently, but gets caught in the act).

Sounds like INDY IV is really quite the RAIDERS throw-back, with the Ark and Marion and Abner. But at the same time, the film also seems to be boldly treading into new territory. It'll be an interesting film to watch.

Apparently that 9906573.com site may be a fake (theraider.net updated the article):

Update: The authenticity of www.9906573.com is currently being investigated as there are reasons to assume it is fan made. We hope to have more on that soon.

The Ark. If it is in Indy IV, then it is something that man was not meant to disturb. Death has always surrounded it. It is not of this earth...
