i've voted for the crew from CR '67. Niven and Sellers and Cooper all did a great job, IMO, and while their versions didn't match up to Fleming so much, they were at least very interesting characters.

honorable mention goes to Barry Nelson, who did a great job considering the audience for which his performance was intended and the fact that he really had no one else's performance to go by for guidelines.

My opinion changes a lot. At the current time I'd have to go with Connery,Dalton and Brosnan.

Usually I'd rank them like this;

1.Connery/Moore
2.Brosnan

But since I havent watched any Moore bond flicks quite resently, I have to go with these three, whose movies I've seen lately.

Sean Connery is the difinitive. He's also esentially who I see when I read the books. I don't try to picture him as Bond. It just fits.

Roger Moore - like him as an actor, too, not just in Bond.

Timothy Dalton

Pierce Brosnan

Yet to see Daniel Craig, but right now Lazenby is the least favourite. Sorry, George!

I have to question how many people would like Sean if he had acted in say, Moonraker, View to Kill, and DAD. I think the reason so many like him is because he was the first, he starred in some great films, but lets face it, he didn't make those films. Don't get me wrong, I think Connery was a great actor and a wonderful Bond, but when Roger Moore stepped in, he really made the Bond flicks fun.

Daniel Craig's placing will depend on my viewing of 'Casino Royale', but he's already pipped Lazenby just by viewing the trailers.

Sean Connery IS and ALWAYS WILL BE James Bond 007.

Timothy Dalton, though, takes an unbelievably close second to Connery. Although he lacks the stage prescence and that certain panash that Connery had, he was the closest to Ian Fleming's Bond.

Its too early to speak, but I have a feeling that Daniel Craig will have a good chance at being my favorite after I see CR.

By the way, heres my list of all the Bonds:

Timothy Dalton is the BEST But Moore is possibly my favourite because I love his era.

My favorite is the guy I see in my head when I read the books. Because in the books, Bond is perfect... well not perfect, he makes mistakes, but you must know what I mean! But out of the actors, it's Daniel Craig.
