Actually a really different choice for me because I like all the potrayals of Bond minus Lazenby (even though he is in the film I consider 3rd best). I had to go with Timothy Dalton, the hard, serious, dark approach to Bond just floats my boat and I like 100% of his films. Only two of them but still...you get the idea.

Craig has quite the looks for a bond, but pierce Brosnan is a "better" bond

I think Craig and Connery are the best, and I enjoy Roger's and Pierce's performances about equally. Timothy Dalton stands on his own as one of the best, and although George ranks last, I think his performance in OHMSS was terrific considering the little acting experience he had.

I had only one to vote for - the man I see when reading the books. That IS the only real James Bond for me as I grew up with the books first, also all the books were the originals.

I find it difficult to hate any Bond actor, they all have their high and low points, I agree with Harry though, they're all equally good.

I think I have Brosnan as my default favourite Bond. I go through stages of different moods regarding Bonds, I like them all, but Brosnan would have to be my favourite.
