I actually find it quite difficult, because I can see good points in all the Bonds. And negatives. But if pushed, I'd have to vote (as I have!) for Dalton. It might be a case of wishful thinking, but I can't help but wonder what OHMSS would have been like with Dalton's Bond. Or GE.

Plus I tend to think all Bond's so far have done one Bond too many, apart from Dalton (no offence to Lazenby supporters, but he leaves me cold to be honest - despite the fact that I love OHMSS and it's one of my favourites).

Still, I prefer to think of the reasons why I love the Bonds and the films, rather that the reasons why I groan and feel slightly disappointed afterwards.

I've come to like all the actors,to varying degrees,who have portrayed Bond.But when I hear or see the name 'James Bond',Sean Connery's face pops in my head every time.He will always be James Bond for me.

I really liked Pierce Brosnan as Bond, even though the scripts he was dealt weren't always great. There was a coolness about him that I liked very much. He showed a slightly darker side in TWINE, which I enjoyed as well. It's a shame he only did four and that his last one was a pile of bird dung.

But of course, like many others have said previously, I do enjoy watching all the variations of Bond, although if I had to put somebody at the bottom of the list, I guess it would be Roger Moore. So classy and charming, but a bit too soft for Bond.

Has to Be Dalton, The Most Realistic Bond, Most serious, Most Dangerous and most Bond-Like, Dont Get me Wrong, Craig is a loada realism and lots of the serious/dangerous stuff and yes he IS Bond but not my favourite kind of Bond. I hope he is more Bond-Like in BOND 23 because at the moment Craig's Bond ( not craig himself ) is just getting to Grips with the life he leads.

This was one was hard. For me it's a draw between Danny boy and Pierce so I went with my first Bond and the one I grew up adoring and wanting to emulate and that's the Brozza. Glad to see I'm not the only one who thinks so as well.

I was surprised to see Craig trailing behind, until I realized that this poll actually started 3 years before CR came out.

Hard to tell to be honest. Quantum of Solace proved that Craig is THE BOND right now. Or should I say, reinforced his place amongst the other Bonds after his debut in 'Casino Royale'. But like some other people before me said; I , too , like every actor who has portrayed Bond.

Sometimes I might get a bit fed up with some of the actors. But soon after I'm liking their portrayals again.

It's always hard to rank them, because I haven't really a least favourite. I loved Craig's peformance in QOS, he is really the Bond at the moment. Still Connery is at the top, probabaly followed by Roger Moore, I always feel those two really ARE the guy.

To rank the rest is very difficult, I'm always defending Lazenby, he was my favourite Bond for a long time after watching OHMSS for the first time.

They where just all 6 great IMO.

I love all of the actors who have portrayed James Bond. I feel that all six actors have done a great job. But for the first time, I actually have a favorite Bond actor. I'm sure you all know who he is:

At the moment it's Craig, but I have this loyalty to Connery. In the first four films I feel like he just IS Bond and Connery is just a codename.

But being a fan of the books, I feel that Craig does come so close to what I see when I read them it's difficult not to give him the first spot.
