If you don't know , that movie is a romantic / comedy movie type , not exactly an action film , So you can't judge him by that movie.I cant see Ewan Mcgregor as bond either because I saw Down With Love and if that is the way he is going to portray bond then count me out.

but i think he is too young looking for the role right now...give him some time and we will see.

Yes , maybe you're right. He could fit in about 5 or 6 years perhaps.

He just sometimes seems to be generic to be.

I would think he'd've turned down the role, seeing as James Bond and M:I are kind of rivals, and that he's on the M:I side, or something like that.I wonder why Dougray Scott turned down the role. He's a fine actor , that could pull of a great James Bond. Perhaps he didn't want to be attached to a franchise like 007 franchise.

That would be taking CGI a bit too far. We've got some really good candidates up for the role now. Much better than I initially thought, when I couldn't pick one I'd accept as the new James Bond.Oh, just use a computer generated James Bond (ala 'The Hulk')- no balding, no grey hair, no weight gain, no signs of aging. All the wit, charm, style and danger you can program.

In my personal opinion he is too young, and way too thin....he looks like a good bad guy could really give him a trouncing....LOLFound this picture of Ioan Gudruff (or what is name is) , and has a certain bond feeling about it. what do you think? Him for Bond 22 or Bond 23...

Dreadful. He looks like Tim Henman (for the benefit of non-UK CBners, I'm referring to a somewhat unexciting British tennis player who seems to specıalıse in getting knocked out of Wimbledon every year, regular as clockwork, to the secret delight of his masochistic fans, who, in the British way, relish defeat more than victory) after a starvation diet.Found this picture of Ioan Gudruff (or what is name is) , and has a certain bond feeling about it. what do you think? Him for Bond 22 or Bond 23...

He looks like a very generic Bond, which some of these contenders appear to be to me.

As for Gruffud I think he's too young but I also don't think he'll ever be a good Bond contender. He just lacks the "toughness" to be Bond
