The Nip/Tuck premiere is tonight--the one which Sony Films bought all the adverts for. It's very likely NOT related to Bond but you all can check it to see for yourselves.

I share the view that the "final four" was not a joke. It is all focusing now on alex and goran.goran is superb, first class. I am happy that someone here thinks the same on the familiar looks of goran and sean connery. If goran can give us a brit-accent he will be a brilliant bond-he definetely has the best bond look of all the contenders.

If the idea pf Gpran Visnij is too much for you, you can read the latest on Rikki Lee Travolta. Did they consider that bookies might refuse to take a bet on him because they couldn't stop laughing?

He's been one of the contenders that's been around for quite a while too. Some have come and gone. :)

Also it is very strange that goran hurried back to the states in order to shoot some scenes for ER. Why? Because he probably had planned his holiday throughout the hole september. After that it was planned to return to the states. But two weeks ago he has already been seen at the set of ER

ER always starts shooting in the late summer; Visnjic being back when he was is no different from the past couple of years, so I don't think that means anything.

I've given up even wondering any more who will get the part and will just wait for an announcement.

Saturday I went to a Restaurant, and I saw Gabriel Garko, the italian model-actor that someone a few days ago tipped to be a good Bond.
He's fine, but something that impressed me so much is His magnetic glance, something that I expect from Bond. I don't know if he's the right man for the part, but I hope, that, whoever will be the next, he will have this kind of glance.

:) Details details. But seriously that's a detail that's unfairly unappreciated by most fans. I'm glad there are fans who think the way I do on the subject. Yes, an effective Bond should have a very effective set of eyes. They should not only be capable of staring a powerful nemesis down, but also be capable of exuding a range of emotions from cold ruthlessness to boyish rambunctiousness. Connery was the best in that regard, followed by Dalton and then Brosnan.

Here's my choice on who should be screen tested for James Bond number 6.

The actor is called Jeremy Edwards. He looks like young Bond, is the right height, the right age (34) - with a little voice coaching he could be the man Eon are looking for (if they are still going with the younger Bond storyline).

and one to sway the ladies:

I say let him grow some chest hair and sign him up. Or check out my thread on Mark Dymond called "HOLD EVERYTHING, I FOUND THE NEW 007!" Between JE and MD EON should be able to come up with the right, as yet unknown, Bond for the next decade (and a half). Either one should be better than the losers EON has been trumpetting up. :)

Yesterday I was watching XXX2. There's an actor who could be bond.
His name is Scott Speedman, what do you think about it?

I think Jason Isaacs may make a very good James Bond. He is so very swave. He is the actor that played with Jackie Chan in The Tuxedo.

And then there is an American. OH, NO! Everyone screams. Cole Hauser who played the leading role in Paparazzi. One thing....he sure has the looks.

Call me crazy, he's not on the list, but I think a little known actor named Daniel Craig would be great as the next Bond - probably for the film: Casino Royale. Okay, maybe he doesn't have the standard good looks we all expect and maybe his hair is the wrong color - but I think he'd suprise everyone.

I think the next Bond girl should be played by Eva Green.

Do you folks think EON would go for such a bold move?

I say this thread should be retired for now. Hopefully not to be resurrected for a good 15 years (crossing fingers).

Did anyone else fancy Julian McMahon's chances as #6? Maybe in for #7 then, but you're pushing it a bit because he's just about Danny's age, 38 this year. Don't know about the next Bond but #9's reserved

I always felt that DC would be good or excellent as Bond. After seeing Layer Cake and his little part in Elizabeth i genuinely believe he is the best choice.
Earlier i said that Goran would be good but now practically thinking i dont think anyone from continental Europe , South America and Asia will be Bond
