UPDATE: You Know My Name - Chris Cornell added to the poll choices.
Might need to fix it or something. When I vote for it and hit the vote button. I get an error message saying I didnt click on a button.
Is anyone else who hasn't voted yet getting this problem?

OK, so here is the deal: the way this forum is set up is that we can have up to three different questions within a poll, and only 20 options per question.
It therefore creates a problem when I want to have 21 options for this question.
What I think I'll do later tonight is change the poll into two questions: pick your favourite song from Dr. No through The Spy Who Loved Me
and
your favourite from Moonraker through Casino Royale
What does everyone think?

Just my opinion though.

The polls may not be perfectly halved as DN-TSWLM, and MR-CR would be, but the various eras would be kept in tact, which might make the polls an interesting case study in comparing them.

I've made an update to the poll so that the Casino Royale title song is now included. Members who have not previously voted in this poll may now vote twice: once to choose their favourite song from Dr. No-Moonraker and their favourite from For Your Eyes Only-Casino Royale.

AVTAK-Honestly, I was never the biggest fan of all the choices in Cat. 2. This is the best of the cake so far, as it's got a nice energy to it. Cornell's is rapidly rising in my opinion though.
Nobody Does it Better-Right from the opening piano melody, the song's just pure class. Definitely the best of the slow Bond songs, although You Only Live Twice is also quite good.
If only "We Have all the Time in the World" was eligable for this. Too bad it isn't technicaly a title song.

Since I could vote in the era from 1980s onwards as well, I picked John Barry's last one, a-ha's The Living Daylights. It was a close battle with A View to a Kill but ultimately TLD wins by giving me fonder memories of a vastly superior Bond film.

I chose Live And Let Die & A View To A Kill. Out of the remaining modern pop themes I'd pick The World Is Not Enough, The Living Daylights, and You Know My Name. From the classic/traditional ones I'd choose On Her Majesty's Secret Service, Thunderball, and From Russia With Love (the opening titles theme, not the end credits song.) Carly Simon, geez.

Such a great chorus, upbeat nature. The song also has a meaning behind it also, for once.
