Licence To Kill.

Great sample of Goldfinger, great vocals, perfect lyrics, and the power of a soul ballad harnessed without flaw.

The Living Daylights, A View To A Kill, Live And Let Die, and Thunderball round out my top five.

So many great ones to choose from...

I'd have to say "A View to a Kill" is my favorite... at least for today...

Kind of scary when a girly song like Nobody Does it Better is the current winner in the poll.

I like that one too. Although YOLT is probably my favourite. And I am partial to TWINE.

Will we ever get to see the actor playing Bond sing a title tune? Part of me can't help feeling it's been a missed opportunity.

I'd say the closest we'll ever get was Connery and Underneath the Mango Tree.

The Living Daylights has always been my favorite. AVTAK is a close second & LALD a close 3rd.

The first Bond movie I saw in the cinema (actually the first I ever saw come to think of it) was The Man With The Golden Gun.

As a young boy, I thought the movie was fantastic but now it just seems stupid beyond words...the scene where the two 14 year old girls defeat an entire martial arts school is so far removed from even the most far-fetched form of reality that you think Saltzman-Broccoli were trying to change genres to a sub-teen slapstick genre...

But I digress.

I loved Lulu's raunchy voice and she certainly hammer's out the vocals (even though Don Black's lyrics are somewhat "weak".

"....in the next room or this very one...."

I guess Black was just bored the day he penned it.

Anyway...I own the soundtrack on Vinyl and have tried to get it on CD (specifically the end tilte where Lulu sings over Bond & Goodnight sailing away into the sunset in Scaramanga's personal luxury junk - for years I desired to own such a vessel)...it's a bit cheesy but I love it:

"Goodnight Goodnight....sleep well my dear....no need to fear....James Bond is here...."

I love it !

I have it on my PC hard drive...

Just played it again.

Love it.

Cheers from Rich

To be frank, the only Brosnan-era theme I didn't care for was DAD, even though I'll openly admit to liking the movie.

I casted my vote for Tomorrow Never Dies. I like that, AVTAK, TWINE, and Nobody Does It Better all equally, but I figured TND could use the extra vote.

Sadly, it is not, but I do agree with you on that track. An excellent cover.

Very recently my favorite has become You Only Live Twice by Nancy Sinatra...I never disliked the song, it just didn't appeal to me but lately I've been in love with it. I'd say it, TLD, FRWL and TND are my top 5 right now.

I voted for the James Bond theme. It's one of the most recognized movie themes in existance. I also like the Goldeneye and Thunderball themes

I just love DAF. It's so eerie...yet almost sweet. I love the minor tone, the beginning, and the end. Shirley Bassey's best song.

I was torn between GoldenEye and AVTAK, but ended up choosing the latter because I'm such a huge fan of Duran Duran.
