Definitely borrowing from SKYFALL.
But I love the choir. Very ghostly.

I doubt it. I think they just put "Spectre" on the site just to say that it's from the film.

It would explain the heavy use of SF though. And wouldn't they know the track title? At least the knew Donna Lucia.

This doesn't sound like an end credits track to me. This is definitely from the PTS, hence using the theme from Grand Bazaar....

Desperate to hear this again! It was a fantastic track in my opinion! I really like it. Infact I think this is our first glimpse at an established 'Newman Sound' and not simply 'Skyfall inflicted'.
Regarding the 2nd half of the track - reminds me much more of Skyfall lodge rather than the PTS. Which makes me think that it could be from 'Westminister Bridge'. The finale.

Very nice. Reminds me of Newman's themes from THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION.

Thank you! The radio guy with his "Heart rate okay? Blood pressure returning to normal?" was too much of a parody.

Not too keen on 'Donna Lucia' personally - feels a bit like a filler track. I don't really see myself going back to listen to it a lot. 'Backfire' though - I loved! Whets my appetite for the full soundtrack, without a doubt. 'Los Muertos Vivos Estan', 'A Place Without Mercy', 'The Pale King', 'Kite In A Hurricane', 'Madeleine', 'Snow Plane', 'Hinx', 'Day Of The Dead' and the last 6 tracks are ones that i'm most excited to hear - given as little as we know!

Oh Christ. I meant NEWMAN SOUND!

Urgh, as dull as Skyfall. Partly because the second half is EXACTLY THE SAME as Skyfall. If it was a specific theme I wouldn't begrudge him for bringing it back. This isn't a theme, it's just a muddled bit of action arrangement.

Loved this!!!!!! As far as the use of the same cues as Skyfall, I chalk that up to Mr. Newman's style. If anyone has seen the 1979 version of Dracula (specifically the scene where Dracula arrives for the dinner party at the beginning of the film), you can hear cues Williams later used as the Imperial March a year later in The Empire Strikes Back.

Regarding reusing the Skyfall cue: does anyone complain when Zimmer reuses action themes from Batman Begins in The Dark Knight Rises?
People are forgetting that not only is this the same composer as Skyfall, this is a sequel to Skyfall (not to mention a third sequel to CR).

This sounds great - I had imagined the 'Grand Bazaar' Bond theme would end the car chase sequence. So happy it will.
So far, so good.

I like Lucia's theme. It's appropriately Bondian. It has a mix of beauty and melancholia, like some of the best John Barry cues do.
