I like SPECTRE or RISICO as titles, but I wouldn't mind another two or three word title this time

Really not a big fan of Risico or Spectre as titles. My guess is it'll be another original title.

I'd be surprised if it's actually SPECTRE. It feels like too much of a giveaway regarding the possible return of Blofeld.

i.e. There's no real way they can title the film SPECTRE, and then deny that Waltz is actually Blofeld, rather than Franz Oberhauser or whatever.

I agree. Blofeld's cat would be out of the bag.

I really don't know what's going to happen, and that's part of the excitement.

Yeah this is really refreshing. They've kept a pretty good lid on things this time. Let's hope that continues into the production.

A tangent to the thread but if Bloefeld's back, should we see a white cat? I don't think there is anyway they will have him stroking a cat (even for a scene) but I would not be surprised if there was a few subtle references to one.

Outlandish for the title but what about... The Spectre of Risico.... Nah... that wouldn't work.

I'm wondering if there is a Fleming-penned phrase, like a chapter title or a bit from the prose itself, that would make a good title and intimate SPECTRE without giving it away to all but the most well-versed & observant fans. Not Shatterhand (which I suspect we can rule out), but something a bit more vague.

I really do hope there is some specific Fleming connection in the title.

Only a few hours left, and to borrow from that well known wartime poster, I intend to;

KEEP CALM

AND

STROKE A WHITE CAT

(or maybe not, as the case may be ;))

I have a cat (Egyptian Mau), so I'll just have to put a bow tie on him and call him 007 for the next day or so haha.

It may be time to prepare yourselves for EXPOSURES...

BBC reporter just suggested it and URL was registered by Sony Pictures in October.

Hopefully it's a red herring. I'm sure "Bond exposures" are something financial...

It doesn't feel right, does it. Let's hope it's misdirection.

But this is a team that once considered Silver Bullet, Once Upon a Spy and A Killing Moon...

Maybe it's a rebrand, like Philip Morris became Altria.

It all could be explained/tied together in a single line, "an organization set up by former Quantum associates and other shady characters", or something like that,

Just because no one has pointed it out before - here´s the first plot description from BBC:

According to the film studio, the plot will see "a cryptic message from Bond's past send him on a trail to uncover a sinister organisation.

"While M battles political forces to keep the secret service alive, Bond peels back the layers of deceit to reveal the terrible truth behind Spectre."
