A high speed car chase at night? Consider me sold. Too many car chases in daylight. That sequence sounds fun.
Should be sweet right. I think CR had the first night time car chase in a Bond film and we know how that ended.
There are night time car chases in GF and DAF.

There's also one in On Her Majesty's Secret Service.

This may all already be on this thread, but Le Figaro has shooting dates for Rome and two major stunts listed to shoot there:

A new article on Rome filming: http://roma.repubbli...vere-102594820/
Seems they'll be using the Piazza Navona, which also featured in ANGELS & DEMONS.

An absolutely stunning location - I hope this does end up as a location.

I'd love for the Piazza de Spagna to appear. Not that I'm biased or anything....

You really can't knock this film's locales, that's for sure.

Pretty sure that idea was kicked to the curb months ago, after studio pointed out the similarity to Dan Brown's INFERNO.It makes sense using that location

Not at all. SPECTRE has beautiful locations and a great cast to go with it. I'm as optimistic as ever.

I feel like the Piazza Navona, is a perfect place for Bond to meet a contract or first appearance of Bond girl?

From the Italian newspaper "La Stampa", I hope it's clear enough:
http://www.lastampa....TOK/pagina.html
An Amendment to the Stability Law postpones the restriction on the use of firearms in movies: no problem for the new 007 that will be filmed (also) in Rome
James Bond-1 Bureaucracy 0. The agent 007 is able to carry out even the most complicated mission ,the one against Italian rules and restrictions. A government amendment to the Stability Law, in fact, "saves" the sets of action films and fictions, that may continue to use the stage weapons for the whole year 2015,the time required to complete the filming of "Spectre" which is set (also) in Rome. For Anica (National Association of Cinematographic Audiovisual Multimedia Industries) it is a victory since ,starting the new year , would come into force the law that regulates the technical requirements for the use of rifles and guns in the films. All of them, including compressed air and gas ones, would be due to sift through the Banco Nazionale test at the expense of film productions, a test defined by the experts "off the field of the achievable. "
PS: As you say, the power of money...

Always nice to hear from you Luigi! Thanks for the update. Additionally, deadline is reporting that even with the Sony leaks, production is moving right along on SPECTRE.

This sounds like a bit of a problem, I'm certain they'll sort something out but....
James Bond film scene 'too risky for Baroque fountain'“We have not given permission for the sequence at the Quattro Fontane because the site is too delicate from an architectural point of view,” Federica Galloni, a cultural heritage official, told Il Messagero newspaper.
“We have asked the producers not to film there but instead to create the sequence with special effects in post-production.
“At the moment the scene has been suspended, and we’re waiting for the producers to tell us how they intend to resolve the problem.”

They'll just build it at Pinewood, they way they built the Sienna rooves over which some of the running took place.

The Rome problem has also been written up by The Times now. I presume EON will be itching to use the real location. I'm not sure how expensive it could prove to be if they had to recreate it at Pinewood.

Unfortunate development involving Via Quattro Fontane. I'm curious to see what their solution will be.
