I want to see Bond on his day off, eating breakfast, exercising, going to the tailor & barber etc. I want to see great conversation over great food & drink ala Casino Royale. I wish that scene of him running in Hyde (?) Park was kept in Skyfall...

What do you want to see in Spectre?

Quantum is the new spectre they should be brought back, Mr. Big or M.R.B.I.G. could be a code name, TMWTGG would be great if they made it more realistic and modern, miss the enegry crisses stuff, make it agent vs agent under the code name "Scara among us"

I want to see Craig do logical extension of his performance so far, while the others characters can be lighter, allowing Craig's Bond to react to that. This should create a Bond performance that is funny and cool.

I'd like to see a Craig film more in the vain of The Spy Who Loved Me. Grounded in the way Craig's Bond is, but with a huge, OTT end-of-the-world adventure.....and Yvonne Strahovski.

I'd like to see Daniel Craig go to a cold location, think the beginning of Goldeneye, but something bigger and better towards the end of the film. Maybe he's hunted by many villains, across cold lakes, mountains, and forests.
That probably sounds a bit like First Blood.

I just want to see him relax a little. Eating, drinking, shopping for his own dinner jackets, making coffee, etc.
"Enjoying Life."
Oh and a proper gunbarrel with a twangy guitar at the beginning.

Also would love see Felix Leiter in action with Bond. Really give the vibe that they are equals. Developed the friendship more. I always thought the one thing NSNA did really well was the Bond/Leiter relationship. It's what I enjoy most about that movie.

I think it would be cool to see the May character introduced. Have a scene with Bond at his flat and May getting on him for not sleeping enough or something. I think a nagging but loving mother figure suits Craig's Bond. Would play off his dry sense of humor.
I'd rather that they hold off on doing something like this for a while. Normally I'd be fine with them going in this direction, as it would be adding a facet of Fleming's novels to the films that we haven't seen yet, namely a look at Bond's "normal" life away from the office. That said, if implemented as described, it might come off as a bit too similar to what we saw with Dench's M, who was basically a mother figure for Craig's Bond. After having that as a major feature of Casino Royale, Quantum of Solace, and Skyfall, it'll be nice to have a few films that are void of such a dynamic.

Fair point. It may be adding too many new ingredients too fast. There is a definite need to get back to normal and run with the elements all ready established. Still a thought for the future.

One theme made explicit in Skyfall is the British government's lack of confidence in its own intellgence service, especially in the face of twenty-first century security threats.
This lack of confidence is shown to be completely justified by the events of the film.
Skyfall is a COLOSSAL disaster for the British. Sensitive information is stolen; MI6 is attacked; London is terrorized; and M is murdered. Even though Silva gets his comeuppence in the end it's hardly what you could call a 'victory'.
If the events of Skyfall happened in real life the SIS would be dismantled and rebuilt from the ground up.
So there MUST be major consequences to all this, politically and institutionally. BOND 24 could - and perhaps should - explore these consequences, the changes they bring about, and how it all affects the lone man in the shadows.

Actually in real life highly sensitive information from the secret and security services has a tendency of turning up on the tube or other means of public transport, numerous threats to the public are ignored while the bulk of intelligence gathering concerns itself with the British public and countries who are nominally allies of the UK. By no means is any of this considered a disaster; to the contrary, this is the usual state of affairs and nobody has the slightest intention of drawing any consequences from it.
You're seriously suggesting that if the events of Skyfall happened in real life there would be no consequences for MI6?

In the meantime the nation's attention is captured by bedroom taxes, the relentless enquiry of its spearhead organ of investigative journalism into the supposed level of love/hate for the UK a long-dead former politician - who cannot defend himself against smear campaigns any more - held decades ago and how to free the British Islands from the European continent and sail them across the Atlantic.
No, there'd be no consequences.

I'd like that. I think a skiing/snowboarding scene in Vancouver would be excellent. I also wouldn't Bond in Australia or Spain. In the entirety of the Bond films, he's never gone to Canada, Australia and he's only been to Spain once, in the PTS of The World Is Not Enough (which was spent almost entirely indoors in a bank, so that almost doesn't even count). I also wouldn't mind seeing Bond return to the States. In the Craig era, he's only been there once for two very brief scenes in Miami. No more Italy, though. Bond has gone there way too often and twice for long stretches during the Craig era. A return to Japan would be nice too.
My top 5 locales for Bond:
1. Australia
2. San Sebastian, Spain
3. Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
4. Hawaii/New Orleans/Denver, United States
5. Japan

For Bond 24 how about a villain who throws Bond to the dogs and Bond has to escape from the snake-pit as in the old Connery and Moore Bond films. I also want to see more elegance from the Craig Bond as the films sometimes risk going into "thick ear" territory.

I would love to see David Suchet finally given a part. He could make a good villain, but I have often wanted him to be a Head of Section maybe. An ally.

I would like to see Commander James Bond.
I would like to see Bond lead a detachment of soldiers ala the climax of Thunderball or the allied effort within the Liparus in The Spy Who Loved Me...

Exotic locations and a TSWLM sort of grandness. As much as I love Craig's films, we need a less serious take now, not too over the top such as DAD or MR, but something fun and enjoyable and no sort of revenge at all.

I was going to write about this. I've just read this news and this is terrific news indeed. I've always wanted the return of Spectre and Blofeld to the franchise. they could make Quantum a subsidiary of Spectre to work it out.
