I would like to see:

- Gunbarrel at the beginning.

- A femme fatale/ villainess who is bad throughout.

- A surviving Bond girl at the end.

- The death of a minor Bond girl (just keep doing it until Craig's last film maybe)

- A brilliant villain.

- A cool henchman.

- A snow action scene.

- A grand finale.

- A good ending.

I want to see Bond finally meet his match when he battles against the most annoying bastard machine on the planet.

Yes Bond goes up up against the self service checkouts at Asda.

Has anyone said commando battle yet?  We were supposed to have one in the Brosnan era that never came to pass, the last one we had was TLD, basically.  We've had some good ones, mainly in the Lewis Gilbert-directed ones, and I would welcome another.

1) More Gadgets

2)More use of Bond Girl

3)Most likely reference to Quantum maybe Mr. White so that can lead to SPECTRE so that Bond 25 can feature Blofeld with Daniel retiring.

What a commando battle?

kaiserthegreat, a commando battle is when an army (usually American) battles against the villain's henchmen, the former usually led by Bond.  We've seen this in the following Bond films:

- Goldfinger (the U.S. army fighting Goldfinger's Chinese henchmen in and around Fort Knox)

- Thunderball (Bond leads U.S. 'frogmen' against SPECTRE's frogmen)

- You Only Live Twice (Bond leads the ninjas against SPECTRE's henchmen)

- On Her Majesty's Secret Service (Bond and Draco lead Draco's men against Blofeld's at Piz Gloria)

- The Spy Who Loved Me (Bond leads the kidnapped British, Russian and American submarine crews in battle against Stromberg's men)

- Moonraker (Col. Scott & the air force wage a laser battle against Drax's men)

- The Living Daylights (Bond leads the mujaheddin against the villains' men)

We were originally supposed to see one on an indoor beach (?) as the climax of Die Another Day, but it was scuppered for the two duels on the plane (I would've preferred the largesse of the army battle).

Oh, and adding to my wishlist:

- gunbarrel opening

- Bond in his naval uniform

- more gadgets

- another larger-than-life villain, though maybe slightly older than Bond, i.e. the "sinister father figure" so often found in Fleming's novels

- a bad girl

- another one-word title (like SHATTERHAND or RISICO.)

Dave

I think there should be more obvious product placement. More close-ups on the actual badges and brand logos. Like in Skyfall, rather than just showing the VWs they cleverly put that line in, "It was VW Beetles!"

Or in Casino Royale - "Rolex?" "Omega." - Bond shouldn't simply wear a good watch, he should tell the audience what it is, and preferably where to get a good deal on one.

I think without naming the products and brands in the actual dialogues of the film the product placement is just lost on most people. And that's a real shame.

- Have Quantum return

- Have a good, over the top, larger than life henchman for the first time in over a decade

- one liners

- this time it's NOT personal

- Bond floats away on a life raft with the main girl ALIVE

- "grand finale"

I loved Skyfall a ton, and Severine had potential to be the greatest Bond girl in history. It's a shame she simply didn't have enough screen time to solidify herself.

I would love to have another of those. A good old 'Bond and allies' storm the lair thing, ala YOLT, TSWLM, MR, etc. Or a fighting force coming to help out, ala the finales of GF and TB, where Bond is still going it alone. I'd also like to see a villain or henchman that takes it right up to Craig physically. Craig's Bond is the grittiest of the bunch, so I'd like to see him really pushed to the limit. Perhaps not The Dark Knight Rises Bane territory, but you get the idea.

I think that's exactly the direction that they need to go with the next villain for Craig's Bond to face off against.  For a Bond that is as physical as Craig's Bond is, he needs to go up against a villain that can, at the very least, match him physically.  I'd actually like to see them put him up against a villain that actually surpasses him in terms of physical ability.  After seeing Bond going up against the countless people he's gone up against in hand-to-hand combat in the last three films, and seeing how easily he's dispatched all of them, it would really be interesting to see him go up against someone that he isn't able to beat through sheer force alone.  I think that they could also get quite a bit of mileage out of having such a villain being a female, as well.  Something like Xenia Onatopp, except fleshed out into a full-fledged main villain and then taken to another level in terms of physicality (i.e. not having to rely on a villainous gimmick such as super-strong thighs to get the job done).

A female bodybuilder, wrester or mixed martial artist would be interesting. What about Gina Carano? Maybe even Brigitte Nielsen?

I'd be very much in favor of having Gina Carano as the villain in Bond 24, or any future Bond film.  I think she'd be terrific and give the series a villain that's a bit different from what we're used to seeing in the franchise.

Unfortunately, I don't see EON as being as enthusiastic about the prospects.  Now that they're aiming for Oscar-caliber actors for their villains (i.e. Bardem and Amalric), I see that trend continuing, especially with Oscar winners like Sam Mendes directing the films and Oscar nominees like John Logan writing the screenplays.

-Gunbarrel at the beginning.

-A classic Bond with the girl ending.

-Straight forward adventure.

-Quantum.

-Gadgets.

-A lighter feeling and more humour.

-The return of another recurring Bond element that is yet to feature in a Craig Bond movie (a ski chase, large final battle between two armies, a car chase with gadgetry).

-The use of unused story material from Fleming's novels.

-A Fleming title, but that depends on the plot of course.

-More use of the Bond theme.

-A blonde Bond girl, something we haven't had in any of the Craig movies yet.

Something along the lines of the GF laser table, LTK cocaine grinder, MR G-force simulator, GE helicopter ejection, DAF crematorium etc. Put in a situation and left to die.

Well that is a kind of death trap. As was the komodo dragon pit.

But I see what sharpshooter means.

The Jet-pack!

It seems like this one has been going in and out of scripts several times since 1965. But now is the right time to bring this oldie back into action. It also fits with Craig-Bond's journey, and Mendes desire to bring back old stuff.

Haha, I'd have expected to squirm at that suggestion, but actually that would be so hilarious I would have to agree.

The old jetpack would be interesting. I would hope that they would make it apply to the plot in some way, though.

-To see the deleted scene from QOS to give closure to Mr. White's disappearance.

-A Bond woman who wouldn't disappear with no explanation in the following film.

-To see Camille come back showing she's moved on fine.

-A villain with zombies or one who battles Bond in a cemetary, that of Vesper

-Ginbarrel at the end again and part of the plot as in CR

-Felix Leiter played by the last pepper-loving guy again

-A villain without physical scars

-A sense of modernism

-More realism

-No gadgets

-Less one-liners

A villain with zombies and most realism can't be in the same film.

That said, I agree with:

-To see the deleted scene from QOS to give closure to Mr. White's disappearance (this as PTS set sometime between QOS and Skyfall)

-A Bond woman who wouldn't disappear with no explanation in the following film

-To see Camille come back

-Felix Leiter played by the last pepper-loving guy again (you mean Jeffrey Wright, right? - no pun intended)

-A villain without physical scars

-More realism

-No (silly) gadgets
