Something just doesn't look right about that costume. I can't quite put my finger on it....
Yeah I agree I mean that costume does look really weird.

I think it's certainly looking different as they've tried to make it different, without trying to modernise the classic look, as a result of some of the moaning about 'Superman Returns'. This looks more like modified armour, or a battle suit, from Krypton and as seen by Jor-El's look, it's certainly not supposed to be what the original suit was - this seems more for a purpose rather than made from scratch for him on Earth.
I wonder how they will incorporate this into the change Clark makes into Superman - it looks far too bulky to hide under his shirt for a clasic shirt-rip, so maybe he may have to use the telephone boxes again...that should be a fun part of the film, seeing how he changes into Supes!
And seems like Hugh Jackman is back (again) as Wolverine in the new 'X-Men: Days Of Future Past' sequel to 'First Class' - he's been in every single live action X-Men film now...what a screen whore!

You must really dislike the character of Wolverine.
Posted 19 December 2012 - 08:47 AM
I didn't at first, but just feel he's doing nothing new and he's over-exploited for the fanbase of his and that he links every X-Men film somehow.
Posted 19 December 2012 - 05:26 PM
I agree. I think Wolverine needs to be dropped at least for the time being. The scene of him in X-Men First Class is funny, but could've been omitted without losing anything.
Posted 19 December 2012 - 06:13 PM
I wonder if he'll expand on that in 'DOFP' in an extended cameo, or this time be enlisted by Professor X to help fight the fight... he knows who Wolverine is in 'X-Men', and he sees him again in 'Origins', so maybe we'll see an early Prof X/Wolvie relationship? Who knows, as long as he's not one of the main characters again and takes over...
Posted 19 December 2012 - 11:17 PM
Then I suggest you take your ticket money somewhere else. 'DOFP' deals with going through time and of course present day. It'll link together the First Class set of films to the original trilogy. Wolverine is in it, because the character was essential to the Days Of Future Past story arc in the comics. I thinks it's rather nifty that all of the films will be linked together. Hugh Jackman will probably be promoted to the starof the film to help sell it as well as for the Box Office Draw, because 'First Class' whilst great, didn't really perform to the level's of the other films. This was a smart move.

THX Skater I LOL, funny indeed. I had to watch it again.

Yeah, I saw that. Pretty funny.

I've been on a bit of a superhero fest lately;
Last week I watched the show 'Comic Book Men', which is 'Pawn Stars' but with Comics and toys. They also do a Podcast for each episode. Link here.
I also watched the films 'Comic-Con Episode IV: A Fan's Hope' (2011) and 'Fanboys'.
This week I got 'The Big Bang Theory' season 3 which had a few episodes I haven't seen yet, one of which featured Stan Lee.
I was on Marvel.com and came across this new not so special photo of 'Iron Man 3'. Link here.

Yeah The Big Bang Theory episode with Stan Lee is pretty funny.

The Final Roster for JUSTICE LEAGUE Is...!!!
Superman, Batman, Green Lantern, Wonder Woman and The Flash.
Posted 25 January 2013 - 12:11 AM
I heard about that.. I would say that's a good lineup.
Posted 25 January 2013 - 09:12 AM
Just need to get films for 'Wonder Woman' and 'The Flash', get rid of Ryan Reynolds as 'Green Lantern', bring in JGL as Batman and keep Cavill as Superman and we're looking good to go...!!
I somehow think, compared to the recent films of the Avengers crew, will the Justice League roster win over fans with two of them not having films yet, one who bombed at the box-office, one who has a good legacy but is uncast, and the one who needs to prove he is really THE man of steel after a dissapointing return?
I pray they can pull it off as these are REAL super-heroes!
Posted 25 January 2013 - 09:14 AM
Reynolds is actually going to reprise his role in the film. No JGL as Batman. If he is casted, I will never see this film and any Batman films again. I will stand by this statement.
Posted 25 January 2013 - 04:00 PM
^ We get it.. he is too short. Personally I think that JGL should be Nightwing or Robin not Batman. I still will go see it though because it's Joseph! Haha the Green Lantern better be good in this movie unlike his solo film..

Height and weight aside, he just doesn't have the look of Bruce Wayne/Batman, at least to me.
Posted 25 January 2013 - 04:06 PM
I vote for him to be Nightwing or Robin.

I'll cast my vote for Nightwing, just...not...Batman.
Posted 25 January 2013 - 06:06 PM
I'll be happy with either, he started his journey to being Batman in 'The Dark Knight Rises' so just going on if Warner Bros. decide to follow that arc with Justice League...but who knows.

This. Don't get me wrong. I have been a big fan of his since I saw
Manic back in the day. But he's not Bruce. Grayson? Definitely. But not
Bruce Wayne.
Back when George Miller was going to do a JL movie, Armie Hammer was discussed. I could see that.
Apparently there are doing an Ant Man movie in Marvel's phase 3. [1]
Oh, NOW they deign to mention Hank and Janet! I mean, they're only two of the founding members! They were there when they first found Cap and were there for years when Clint and Natasha were still villains.

OMG I love Iceman! He is so cool. If I could have any superhero I would love to be made of Ice and I have no idea why.

Cobie Smulders is in talks to appear in the S.H.I.E.L.D. TV show as Maria Hill.
Posted 28 January 2013 - 08:43 AM
Iceman was a knob in the early X-Men films, but he grew on me during 'X-M 3' so hopefully his return will be interesting to see, along with Rogue!
Seems like this will almost be a dream X-Men cast!? Wonder if they will get James Marsden back as Cyclops? His exit from the series was disgusting.

That would be pretty interesting, I liked her character.

They certainly could bring Cyclops back or anyone else they want to since the film will involve time travel it could completely reset the future etc etc.
