That's a pretty damn awesome one-sheet. That said, I'm still not excited for this film.
Amazing Spiderman 2 trailer to debut Dec 5. Not gonna lie, not super excited for this one. Especially after Shailene Woodley's scenes were cut.
Weren't you the one who said that you didn't like Shailene Woodley and that she was horribly miscast or is that someone else?
I don't think so. I like Shailene Woodley a lot. She's very lovely and very talented. But if you can point where I did, then I will gladly admit my mistake. She was the only part of that awful movie, The Spectacular Now, that I liked.

That might have been someone else then, I swear someone else besides me was a little apprehensive of Shailene Woodley's casting..
And I have no idea who Gal Gadot is but she seems to look like Wonder Woman. I was reading the comments to that article and some people attacked her for not having boobs. I think that's ridiculously mean because c'mon there is something called a push up bra. Plus I hate how everyone is attacking her before the movie is even filming. I want to see how she is in the movie before i judge.

Same as with Affleck or Craig or whoever else.
The internet gives so many people with instant gratification-syndrome a perfect chance to hate anonymously and prematurely.
Gadot will look like Wonder Woman once she is in training, no doubt about that.

should not be judging before watching...........there will always be haters for casting of superheroes/famous characters but they are a minority

I'm sure Gal Gadot will look terrific in the final product. I love how these nerds on the web freak out and insult the moviemakers, they themselves know better about making movies. pathetic

It'll be interesting to see how this finished product comes together. I wonder if we'll also see Snyder cast Green Lantern, Flash, or Aquaman (or their alter egos) in this film as well.
As for Gadot, I'll give her a chance when the film comes out. I was hoping that the studio might have been able to pry Jaimie Alexander away from Marvel to play the part (which had been rumored a few weeks ago), but Snyder and company certainly could have done worse in terms of casting the character.

Exactly plus the picture they have of her, she hasn't even started training for the movie yet.

Agreed! Casting definitely could have been worse..

n a surprise move, Bryan Singer today revealed the title of the next chapter of 20th Century Fox's popular X-Menfranchise. May 27, 2016 will see the release of X-Men: Apocalypse!
Apocalypse, created by Louise and Walter Simonson, made his debut in X-Factor #6. The world's first mutant, En Sabah Nur was born in Egypt around 3,000 BC and used advanced technology to make himself an eternal conquerer, believing whole heartedly in survival of the fittest.
The character's most popular storyline, "The Age of Apocalypse," ran in the X-Men books beginning in 1995. Set in a parallel reality formed by interference to the timeline, "The Age of Apocalypse" saw Professor Charles Xavier murdered before he could form the X-Men. Instead, a very different take on the team began with Magneto leading them through a post-apocalyptic America ruled by mutants.
Since next summer's X-Men: Days of Future Past involves a time travel storyline, it's likely that a filmic take on "The Age of Apocalypse" could spin out of the new film's ending. It's certainly something that 20th Century Fox has considered as ComingSoon.net has learned that domains likeAgeofApocalypsemovie.com have been registered by the studio for years. What's more, Singer's new film is set to introduce key "Age of Apocalypse" characters like Bishop (Omar Sy) and Blink (Bingbing Fan).
At this stage, however, all that's confirmed is the May 27, 2016 release date, which puts X-Men: Apocalypse up against Walt Disney Pictures' Alice in Wonderland 2.

Not thrilled with the Amazing Spiderman 2 trailer. The movie seems to be repeating the Spidey 3 problems, 1 movie early.

seem AS2 special effort look really bad......too many villain should just focus on two GG and Electro.....that would be fine......no need for rhino to show up until third movie

Big SPOILERS for X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST and APOCALYPSE as new rumors suggest a familiar face will be playing the role of APOCALYPSE!!

Paul Rudd as Ant Man everyone? I don't think I need to include a link it has been confirmed..
I am excited for it, I like Paul Rudd a lot and I think with a little bit of training, he could definitely pull this off. I will see this in theaters.

Waiting for the costume reveal in Febuary for Superman vs Batman (Or as I'll call it-Justice League). Rumor is Batman's suit will NOT be black (I would love to see the New 52 Batman suit); Wonder Woman's look will be from either New 52 or New Frontier (Darwyn Cook's great mini series). As for Superman I expect the same as the last film, but maybe they'll tweek it a bit to look like the suit being worn in Smallville Season 11 comics (I'm hoping for this, not saying that will happen though).
Also can't wait for X-Men, and not really having any good or bad expectations for Amazing Spider-Man 2. Its fun being a super hero fan right now as so many of our favorite characters are getting movies made!
And for those fans of Captain Marvel/Shazam, you'll sadly have to wait longer. It looks like that movie will be delayed.
On the TV front, it looks like Arrow could be possibly brought into the Superman vs Batman universe, which would IMO be a great move on WB's part. However, if the rumored Flash TV series is a go, that may not happen.

Denzel Washington up for Green Lantern role?
Would portray John Stewart in Batman vs. Superman

Iceskater also posted that in the MOVIE NEWS thread. I'm very surprised by it, Denzel is like 60. I would have thought they would have went with someone young, I think they should have just stuck with Ryan Reynolds.

I am not sure how I feel about Guardians of the Galaxy. It's not really something I am looking forward to, but I think I will wait on reviews and then see if the reviews are good.

Not movie related, but some Batman news not related to Batman vs. Superman
FOX's Gotham to include classic Batman villains
Series will tell origin stories of the Penguin, Riddler, Catwoman, and others
Series will also cover Bruce Wayne's journey towards becoming Batman
According to the article, the series was previously billed as focusing on James Gordon prior to his promotion to commissioner. The series is being developed by The Mentalist creator Bruno Heller. According to FOX Chairman Kevin Reilly: "We will see how they get to become what they are as Gotham is teetering on the edge. It is an operatic soap with a larger than life quality.”
-----
Sounds pretty interesting. It might have been interesting to see how they went about a series that just focused on Gordon, as was the plan previously, but this sounds like this project might have some potential.

Interesting. Will there be a connection between this and the DC movies? Are they trying to "marvel" a tie-in?

I recall reading somewhere yesterday that the series won't have anything to do with what they're doing with the Snyder and Affleck version of Batman. Supposedly the series is going to be "Nolan-esque" in its style and tone, although Nolan isn't involved in the project in any way.

Apparently, rumors are that Josh Holloway is being considered for Aquaman in Batman vs. Superman. In my opinion, no one will ever be able to top Vincent Chase as Aquaman.

They really need to slow down with the number of characters that they're adding to Batman vs. Superman. It's just too many at this stage.
