Well done Marketto! But why sticking to the neat Bond in the floor image? I'd like to see that image with a London or Hashima Island background setting.

Very misleading Marketto. I clicked on page 5 of this thread, saw that and got all excited.
Very well done! Here's hoping we actually get something like that.

You know, I'm not usually bothered about big box sets, and films that come with physical extras, however I'd definitely buy that.
I am a massive steelbook collector though, so I'm already sold on that one.

I don't like the image but... it will make the DVD stand out from the crowd. It's pretty memorable.
The sales are going to be insane.

I really hope that the Bluray will include Everything or Nothing as a special feature.
I'm absolutely flabbergasted that EVERYTHING OR NOTHING (which I still haven't seen) hasn't had a stand-alone DVD/Blu-ray release.
Surely it would sell like hot cakes at the moment, what with A, the fiftieth anniversary, B, the stratospheric success of SKYFALL and C, Christmas just around the corner.
Flabbergasted.

Erm, it still may yet have a release. Is there anything to suggest it wouldn't?
Surely it will be released at the same time as Skyfall to cash in on that wave. The email I received from Red Box didn't seem to say there wouldn't be a release, more that it is being looked after by Sony.

I'm not saying it won't ever be released. But surely the best time to cash in on the SKYFALL wave (and the fiftieth anniversary wave, and the Christmas present, erm, wave) would be now?

I was hoping for something this year, if not now then I hope something can be bundled with 'Skyfall' - for getting the box office so high and destroying records, I reckon EON and Sony owe us a little something more on the DVD/Blu Ray!

Actually yeah.
For this film bearing in mind its limited release, the Xmas present wave would have been ideal as opposed in March with Skyfall's release.
Have popped another mail to Sony to see if they have a date in mind.

Cheers, Simon. Presumably these people know what they're doing, but it does strike me that not releasing EVERYTHING OR NOTHING on DVD and Blu-ray in October/November/December 2012 was a case of missing a massive open goal.
Then again, I also struggle to fathom why NEVER SAY NEVER AGAIN remains unreleased on Blu-ray in this country. Are they waiting for next year in order to sell it as a "thirtieth anniversary edition"? (Which seems somewhat unlikely, though.)

I haven't seen it either, it is disappointing that it hasn't been released by itself yet but still hold out hope of an eventual individual release or put on the SF disc as a special feature.I'm absolutely flabbergasted that EVERYTHING OR NOTHING (which I still haven't seen) hasn't had a stand-alone DVD/Blu-ray release.

Weird: amazon.co.uk lists the SKYFALL DVD/BD for a February 18th release now!

Came across this forum post on blu-ray.com listing special features:

He claims they come from a well known European retailer. Can anyone corroborate these? If true, it seems like a pretty impressive release, but of course each topic could wind up being 2-3 minutes each as has been the trend lately.

Hmm...something to me about that doesn't sound true. Easy "covers" to produce, and sounds like something from a Batman film, those special features - I don't think they are correct, probably a fan wishlist.
I really need to see this film again, really want to explore it once more and can't wait to own it and see/hear more details of the DVD/Blu Ray...!

Amazon is now showing a new cover for the DVD edition. Not particularly exciting, but I think it's classier than their original proposal.

A lot better. Still uninspired, but at least it's different!

Still a terrible cover, but then again the only way they'll have a chance at creating a good cover for the home release is if they create a new piece of artwork. It doesn't matter which of the Skyfall posters they slap on the front of the box. They're all terrible.

Unless I'm mistaken though, I believe PS3s are not region locked. So I suppose if you had one in the States, you could order a UK blu-ray. Not sure about the DVD though.
