I love My HD Setup, best and only way I watch films now. The picture and sound is phenomenal, and Skyfall is easily the Best DVD in terms of both. I really loved the title menu with footage from the film with Newman's score overlaying it, classic.

Be even better if you watched on Blu-ray. Not only does it give you superior picture but the sound is uncompressed.

I think it's just the French one that has the postcards.

In Holland you get the postcards with the blu ray (just the normal 1 disc version) on the bol.com side.

I suspect it will go down in a few months, but I am sure they will keep prices the same for as long as they can riding on the popularity of the film itself.

Update - Amazon.co.uk have the Blu Ray Steelbook back in stock!

I was happy to see the steelbook back in stock. Ordered a copy the other day! Came to less than $30 CAD after shipping. It'll be a nice addition to my Bond collection.

Bought it the day it came out here in Australia on Wednesday. Watched it last night so my wife saw it for the first time. She enjoyed but was sad to see M's fate.

Cool, Dave. I've got the Blu-ray on Wednesday as well. I started watching it in full on Thursday night, and before I knew it, all the family were sitting around. They all still like it.

I just checked-  it needed highlighting...!

I can't find any confirmation of special features - if so I think it will be a minimal offering to compensate all 3 Blu-rays for a decent price.

Be even better if you watched on Blu-ray. Not only does it give you superior picture but the sound is uncompressed.

You remind me of those who stuck to VHS long after it was clear that the format was on its last breath. I jumped to DVD in 1998 and I had to live through years of people claiming that DVD was just a fad and would die out leaving VHS as the only true home video format. I made the move to Blu-ray in 2008 and now only buy Blu-ray. I wouldn't be caught dead purchasing a DVD these days and actually double dipped some of my favorite movies that I already had in DVD to get them with the better picture and sound of Blu-ray.

You remind me of someone who can't accept the fact that I don't like it and that I don't feel the need or urgency to HAVE to upgrade to Blu Ray. I didn't stick to VHS, I went with DVD and have been there since, but you wouldn't know as you just quickly assume some things pal. I've already stated how I felt, now please quit flogging around a dead horse.

No one, especially you, is going to change my feelings on switching formats.
