It´s incredible that, even with that quality, that thing just looks...awesome! Thanks Marcos, knew you would eventually pull it off.
One thing that it´s still on the back of my head, so to speak, it that the trailer zencat described seemed to be better constructed in both rhythm and sequences. But one can´t really tell just by the descriptions. Anyways, SF seems to be an helluva film! Cheers.

Like everyone has been saying, it looks HUGE. There appears to be genuine atmosphere and tension this time around, something that Quantum lacked for the bulk of it's running time. This looks like a real Bond movie. Could not be happier. I really need to see it clearly now.

Same here Matt. I wonder when? I´m begining to think it´s more likely we´ll the official trailer sooner than this IMAX exclusive, unless someone else record it with more quality, which seems unlikely given the security and legal issues.

I also have to voice my basic concern about taping anything within a movie theatre. This is piracy and therefore a criminal act. Please guys, do not support this.

And before you say "hey, you watched it, too" let me explain that I only wanted to find out how easily this can be found on the net. And let me tell you: if I can find it then criminal prosecutors may have already found it. So my advice is: refrain from doing this altogether.

yup, this is a piracy but since we all (or the majority of us) will go to see TDKR and I'm sure every single person on this forum will go to see Skyfall I can't see how this could be crime.

Well, the FACT is British, it could come from one of the other countries. As i said i can't see it because in Italy it will arrive the 29th of august anf there is only an IMAX like 1000 miles away from here. It is not a giustification for seeing it, but I think that a leaked trailer is only viral advertising for Sony and Columbia. It is not a film, that if you see it in streaming probably you are not going to see it in cinemas and the company lose money. I can see it online, or i won't see it.

I´m not asking anyone to record it, nor do I endorse piracy in those conditions. I´m just saying that many of us will never get the chance to see it, online or otherwise. And that is truly a shame. As for myself, I would never record anything and post it online as I do know that is a crime. My only wish would be that EON would put the damn thing online so all of us in all the world could see it. What?! They think that if we see the IMAX exclusive trailer online we won´t see Batman in IMAX? That´s jsut nonsense. Also, like I said, there´s no IMAX here, so even if I wanted to see it, I can´t and won´t. I tell you one thing, IF there was an IMAX theatre here and IF the trailer was also online, I would see them both, obviously. There...rant over. No to Piracy and No to absurd and limited campaigns as well.

It seems to me that they're just taking a page from the marketing behind Nolan's Batman films. Not a bad thing, IMO, as Nolan and Warner Bros. have proven themselves to be very good at marketing those films. Hopefully Skyfall surpasses the quality of the otherwise overrated Batman series, but in terms of the marketing of the film, taking a cue from Batman certainly isn't a bad thing. The trailers, both of them, will probably end up on the internet at some point, even if it's possibly another few weeks or even a month or so away.

Just to be clear: I did not intend to say that watching an illegally taped trailer of "Skyfall" will hurt the box office grosses of "The Dark Knight Rises".

I only hope to advise you to stay away from watching anything illegally taped.

Wait for the real thing.

The new theatrical trailer definitely will, I would think, although not possibly until the end of August or September, assuming they're keeping in line with the last two films by having only two theatrical trailers.

I don't know about the "IMAX Exclusive". I think that depends on what they mean by "exclusive". It could be a timed exclusive, with it being only available in IMAX for a certain period of time before EON releases it online (I doubt it makes its way into regular theaters) or it could simply be a true exclusive and we'll never see it, except for perhaps as a bonus feature on the Blu-ray later on.

I don't particularly care one way or the other if it shows up online. I'm not particularly clamoring to see the trailer(s) at this point, and I have to say I've very much been a fan of the tight lid they've kept on this production.

Just got back. WOW! The Skyfall IMAX trailer was the only I liked. The Dark Knight Rises was a terrible film and experience. The trailer left me jaw-dropped
