Trailer is coming. Italian dubbers have just finished their work on it. So I think a week and it will be here
Which trailer? The IMAX or the new theatrical?

PM Harkers, Matt and me with a link, will you Marketto?
If something does arise, and this is from a different version, and you have your hands on it, throw my hat in that ring of names.

Mmm, sweet...If Casino Royale was a steak dinner and Quantum of Solace was a dry piece of over-grilled sole, Skyfall's IMAX trailer makes the upcoming film look like a $19 slice of rare chocolate cheesecake.

I just want to see the damn trailer! Seeing as how a trailer is effectively a commercial, why would it make sense to limit the options for seeing it!? The people that are die-hard enough fans to shell out the money for the IMAX ticket just to see the trailer will do it anyway, whether it's available to watch online or not, because they want to see it on the big screen.
What confounds me the most is the lack of any information whatsoever. Before the teaser trailer was released, 007.com had a countdown to the trailer release date. This time there's absolutely no information about the new trailer whatsoever. You'd think they would at least have an announcement about it being viewable at IMAX theaters or something. Or at least an announcement about the ComicCon stuff.

Such is the unfortunate nature of obsessive fandom. I often wonder what the real world's like.
The trick is not to be obsessive about it.

I'd also add the trick is to ignore the real world. Instead, let us revel in our geekery/fandom.
On a more irritating note, my friend text me today saying she had seen the extended Skyfall trailer at IMAX. I'm livid, since:
1. I introduced her to Bond in 2008 after she casually mentioned she had never seen a Bond film before (And this is someone who prides herself on having seen most big film series/franchises). I leant her Casino Royale, telling her that was as good a starting place as any, then I took an aspirin and lay down with a cold flannel over my face.
2. She loved CR and was first in line to see QOS, but was slightly let down by it (weren't we all).
3. So i, after being a Bond nut for over 15 years missed out on the IMAX trailer, while she got to see it and gloated about it by text to me today.
4. We're having scorching weather in the UK today and it's doing nothing to help my temperament re: my gloating friend. She also said people applauded at the end of the trailer! Nice.
I just hope the Skyfall trailer 2 that is mentioned on the BBFC's site is released this week.

"That's one trick I've never learned. Perhaps you'll show me how it's done?"
Ugh, I hate myself.
