However, good to have some further clarity about this mysterious flash drive.

Subsequently, Bond, (even in less than perfect health), could be very valuable to MI6 if all the other top agents have been exposed.

And don´t forget that a flash drive usually is very small to be inside a box...
Yes, there must be something else in that box. By the end of the film, the original information on the flash drive has been compromised and made public, so just getting it back would be quite pointless anyway.

Naked pictures of M?
By the size of the box, they would probably be hard copies, if you’ll forgive the expression.

Maybe it has a really big data-cable...

I was thinking there will be a lot more to the plot because having all your agents on 'one list' seems a little unlikely in the case that it was exposed, unless that is why M is in so much trouble for having this list in the first place. I understand her position but still you would think it would be a bad idea to have so much information on one memory stick or whatever they use.

After the recent confirmation of a new trailer for the latest Bond epic ‘Skyfall’, the BBFC have officialy released the runtime. The second ‘Skyfall’ trailer, has been classified as a PG and runs for 3 minutes 1 second. So expect a high dose of Bond action. The trailer should be online within the next week or so, but some sources speculate that the trailer could be online very shortly. The second trailer for ‘Skyfall’ is also rumoured to be attatched to The Dark Knight Rises, the last film in the Christopher Nolan Batman trilogy.
'The Dark Knight Rises' sounds a perfect marketing tool to use for Bond awareness - I'll be seeing 'TDKR' on Friday, 9am so will let you know if the trailer is on!

I asked about the odds of Skyfall's 3-minute trailer in front of the general IMAX release starting Friday, and he told me it's at the theatre chain's head office's discretion as to what they play and where - apparently, all the outlets are divided into zones and they're just assigned certain trailer combinations.
So, I went from thinking "Sweet, Skyfall trailer AND new Batman!" to "Goddamnit, I probably won't get the Skyfall trailer this week" in a manner of seconds.

Exactly, but I think they'll know that if they try to keep it off the internet, bootleggers will try their hardest to record it illegally and put it into the public domain. As a result, I'd expect an online release of the trailer at some point in the next few weeks, perhaps as soon as next week, but I'm obviously only speculating. If it is playing before TDKR then we`ll be getting a trailer hopefully online right? Unless they don't want it online?
The main thing we need to find out first is whether this is intended only as an IMAX exclusive or whether it will ultimately gain general release as well.
