I saw "TDKR" in IMAX. And yes, before the three minute trailer began, the screen read 'AN IMAX SKYFALL EXCLUSIVE'. So that explains why people who saw the movie in regular format didn't see the new trailer.

Could you describe the trailer a bit?

My friend going to see The Dark Knight Rises today, and he just texted me...

"When the Sky falls, the world needs Bond to hold it."

I guess this is the tag line?

- A scene in which Ralph Fiennes' character is dressing down M in his office.

Good God! I read that the wrong way... ;)

- The line, spoken to Severine.

That´ll be fun. Could end up being one of Bond´s most iconic moments in 50 years.

Funny, no mention of a tagline from any of the other people who saw it so far.

Just another day for me and then I can give my assessment on the trailer. Saw the trailer for Man Of Steel too. Didn't show much (like the teaser trailer for TDKR), but the film does have a lot of potential.

I won't be going to see Batman for probably a couple of weeks at least. I hope it appears online as the SF trailer is my main motivation for seeing TDKR.

I´ve no ideia @SKYFALL, but one thing is for certain, it may become one of those trailer-openers moment.

@jag, I´m with you on that one. Although I do enjoy the bat films, I´m no maniac. Besides, the way things move around here (Portugal), I doubt that the SF trailer will even be attached to TDKR to begin with. One can only hope that the ones who get to see it will describe it relentlessly.

All of that being said: Oh boy, friday afternoons are always sooooo slow Bond news wise. Anyone care to elaborate even more about the trailer? @Coco? Any new images spring to memory? ;) What makes you say the Floating Dragon is very Bondian?

@Marketto old chap, I see you´re online, any new spy business going on my friend? Any news or comments on the (spy) net?

Strangely similar to what Aris posted back in March.

Ok, that´s a bit too much ain´t it? :) Except if you have a one and only soul mate and don´t care to know any more women in the carnal sense... ;)

This is all so damn EXCITING!
There is less then 100 days left until the release of SKYFALL!

Next month the books start coming out with the 'Bond Poster Book' leading the way. 'Bond on Bond' in October and the 'On The Set Of Skyfall' in September.

We just got the new photo of Q and a new video showing Bond and M getting the DB5. (He forgot to close the garage door!!!)

Reviews on 2 different upcoming SKYFALL trailers. Alongside The Dark Knight Rises which itself I'm sure is a thrilling experience.
There is still 'The Expendables' and 'The Bourne Legacy' to also help tie us over until the release of SKYFALL.

And I would think we still have so much more to hear about like the title song performer, video blogs and exclusives.

MAY THE FESTIVITIES BEGIN!

Just got back from The Dark Knight Rises in Imax. Skyfall Trailer was AMAZING!!! The scale, the scope, everything about it was just perfect. It looks like a throwback to the fun, epic scale Bond films of the 60's & 70's but with a 2012 hard-edge. Hope it gets released online soon so I can watch it again!

Agree with all of the above except with TDKR, EX2 and Bourne. Not my cup of tea I´m afraid. The bat will be cool nonetheless and yeah, seeing Arnie in a smart car shooting a huge machine gun will be fun as well/hell. Let the mayhem begin then ;)

Awesome. What's the Bond theme like? I'm encouraged by these reports that it's an expanded version of the teaser's (whatever that means), and that there's...lots of it.

Don't mean to disappoint but it's really all a blur right now. What really stands out in my mind, not to sound repetitive, is just the scope and scale of it all. The wide shot of the fistfight on top of the train and the surrounding terrain just blew my mind. "The Line" is such an awesome moment and the deliver by Craig is just too cool.

A really cool part was when Bond is speaking to Severine and says "I'd like to meet your employer" to which she replies "Be careful what you wish for, Mr.Bond." in a very old school, Bond femme fatale type of way. All the locations look stunning and the action appears to blow all the other Bond films out of the water.

Another part that I found amusing was the fact that whatever list M loses with all the agents info on it gets uploaded to Youtube. Everybody in the theater started chuckling.

Just saw Batman in IMAX... They only showed the teaser. Very disappointing.

Let me just add this. What are the producers thinking? Why is the preview IMAX only and not in front of EVERY print? The movie is expected to break records- isn't that the exposure they want for Bond? Instead they advertise to a slim minority.

Glad you enjoyed it as well, Vauxhall! I really get a great vibe from the trailer. It really appears to be (at least visually) on a whole 'nother level from what we've seen in a while. A real throwback to the days of Cubby's pre-FYEO mentality of throwing everything and the kitchen sink into a movie.

'Austerity Bond' and 'BOGNER REGIS!?!?!' sentiments are beyond outdated then, I presume? ;)

But seriously, great feedback. Thanks for sharing. Cannot wait to see this.

Right, sorry about the delay. Posted that update during the rest of the trailers.

Firstly, I almost fell out of my chair when the slate came up reading An IMAX Exclusive in the SKYFALL font. I did everything I could to take everything in, but three minutes is a lot to remember! The good news is that the Comic Con reviews and other forum members have pretty much nailed all the scenes featured.

For instance, the first scene is Bond finding the dead body of Ronson and discovering the hard drive has been stolen from his laptop, and M/Tanner telling him an extraction team is on the way, to which he replies they're too bloody late - leading to the opening chase. Some of the stunts on the train were jaw dropping, particularly a shot of Bond and Patrice diving to avoid an impending tunnel.

The major thing that struck me is the visual appearance. It looks truly stunning and I had to remind myself that this is a Bond movie. Each location has a distinctive hue to the scenes, which give a sense of the exotic and really emphasises the natural surroundings. Absolutely no need to worry that the movie is grey and London-bound.

I'm going to have a further think about things to report without repeating others too much, but please ask questions in the meantime and I'll do my best to answer. It was a real treat, and it got a great reception in the cinema.

Pretty much the same as the teaser, but extended. I believe it had the same build-up to the action montage at the end.

Which isn't important at this juncture. We'll get it in the film, don't worry about that!

Vaux, any scenes with Q which hint at good ol' banter in the trailer?

It's always nice to hear it in the trailer, though. It really helps with the hype.
