I'm so bored of hearing about Call of Duty.
I cannot remember a more overrated franchise of games in my lifetime?
Kinect Sports aka The Ultimate Rare disgrace

Yeah, it's quite reassuring, if a tad pointless!
What's a dispatch photo? A photo of the package?
Oh that's good- I'd not heard of that before.

In my opinon CoD is nothing new or great - it's overrated. End.
Thank you! Some of my guy friends like COD but I don't.

Two things re: IGN review; the guns sound exactly the same as GoldenEye Reloaded so I don't know why they're highlighting it for this, and yes, there are some doors where the handles are part of the texture, but COD has that all the time!
It does have some very nice touches. Tracy's death is very good, with a nice tie in to Casino Royale, at least that's what I think it is. You can see they tried to put a lot of effort in, it's just hindered by the short dev time.
It's quite funny, in Licence to Kill, Bond starts to sound like Timothy Dalton!
Multiplayer is a lot less laggy, I'm in a match with 7 Americans and no lag at all. A lot more fun than GE. I'm in hysterics here, just followed two guys into a vent and electrocuted them as Zao. It's awesome. Electrocuting is so fun. Man, it is really solid MP without the lag. Here's hoping it stays like this.
Just finished the campaign. At the end it says "JAMES BOND WILL RETURN - A free pack of Skyfall missions will be available for download the second week of November." Better than just straight credits, but at the moment its a bit abrupt, the Moonraker mission just ends without a cutscene or anything.
Overall, Eurocom have made a great effort with what little time, and I suspect little budget, they had. There are lots of cool moments, and nice touches scattered throughout.
Music-wise, Goldfinger and OHMSS are great, but the other levels have little new music, it's mainly from Blood Stone; the music when you finish a mission or die in MP sounds like it's from Blood Stone but tweaked which is fine, but there are a few instances where it is completely the same, and they're repeated many times in the later levels. I did notice the ice chase has references to the DAD score in it though. There is quite a great "secondary" theme, which is used in a similar way to Goldfinger, that appears during the later levels, and there are hints of the Bond theme, but no full theme.
Oh, and an FYI to those people saying the flags in GF don't move; they do... they ripple!
The MI6 Ops (now Challenges) are better too, they're crying out for co-op!

When the game still costs full price that's really no excuse.

Fair enough. It's not really any worse than GE Reloaded, apart from the clunky way the levels are linked together and the bad shadows."Eurocom have made a great effort with what little time, and I suspect little budget, they had"

-Glitches are nowhere near as bad as people say. Game runs well.
-On "007" difficulty (highest), enemies take a ridiculous amount of bullets to kill. I shot a guy six time in the face-region yesterday. Didn't drop him.
-Two kinds of music. One are original remixes of classic Barry soundtrack scores ("Laser table", "Gumbold's safe", OHMSS main theme come to mind, + a more orchestral version of Arnold's "Iced Inc." for the Aston chase!). And two, they RIPPED MUSIC DIRECTLY FROM BLOODSTONE. A LOT. LIKE, 60% OF THE GAME'S ACTION MUSIC IS BLOODSTONE SCORE! HA! I don't mind, I just can't believe they so cheaply got away with it.
-Driving levels are brief and mildly frustrating. They're kind of cool, but frankly, just there to check boxes so they can brag about a 'full Bond' experience. If lengthening the entire game (on foot) would have meant nixing the driving elements, I'd have been all for it.
-There's very limited stealth compared to GoldenEye: Reloaded. I could play that entire game silently if I wanted, and 007 Legends forces you into battle-sized firefights for most of the time. Which, don't get me wrong, is awesome.
-At the end of the day, the game is fun and a cool, celebratory Bond experience. I'm 27. If you'd released this exact game 10 years ago, I'd have had a stroke on the first playthrough thinking it was so awesome.
-The story contrivances are kind of hilarious to make each one fit into 2 "levels", with the exception of DAD, which is 3, and in my opinion - actually, significantly, improves on the film!

I'm one of the lucky few who never really took to the CoD games (my brothers swear by them, though), so the similarities in this game are unlikely to stick out as sorely to me.
The biggest disappointment I've noticed just watching the review videos has been the timed-event boss battles. Whoever came up with timed-events in video games is a moron.

Shame it's still a short game, although from what I've seen you couldn't pad this out for many more hours than expected! And I've heard about those timed boss battles - still sounds naff, but in a way I'd prefer that than plowing them full of bullets with no effect for 20 minutes running around with dozens of soldiers shooting you down as well.
One of THE most annoying boss battles I've done is Bond vs Trevelyan in 'GoldenEye: Reloaded' - that was annoying, the shooting...so boring. The fighitng, I enjoyed that in fairness.
Still, when I play this, I'll be back with my take but I think I'll save it until post-'Skyfall' for a Bond fix I know I'll probably need.

As the release date was pushed back two weeks in Australia, with people only being notified on the day it was supposed to come out, I'm going to assume it must be some glitch, like it doesn't work on Australian consoles or something
As a wild guess, I don't think it's a glitch, but rather, it's release was pushed back closer to the release of Skyfall here, to try and boost sales of the game. That'd be my only hunch.

I remember doing that here 4 years ago, the Xbox 'Quantum Of Solace' game came out the day the film was released in the cinema and so I went to buy that, then went to watch the film. A great 007 day!

I spent the morning playing it until the opera level, then saw the film and carried on in the evening! I think that has been Activision's most successful game so far. The cover mechanic was great, as was multiplayer.A perfect Bond day Gothamite!

Just started the OHMSS level. Got incredibly annoyed at the Ski Sequence. 1) Because it's so unbelievable, and 2) It took me a good half an hour to understand how to increase speed.
Annoying that bit isn't it
