Celebrating the 50th anniversary of James Bond, Activision Publishing, together with EON Productions, have announced the launch of 007 LEGENDS.
To be launched this autumn on both PS3 and Xbox 360, 007 LEGENDS ambitiously ties together the storylines from six classic Bond films, concluding with this year’s much-anticipated installment, SKYFALL. The multiplayer experience promises four local-player split-screen game modes with new maps, weapons and characters derived from Bond’s 50-year legacy.
Alongside the main overarching storyline, the game will feature the return of the single player Mi6 Ops Missions, which debuted in GOLDENEYE 007: Reloaded and became an immediate fan favourite.
As well as Bond’s signature Walther PPK, players will have access to an arsenal of state-of-the-art gadgets and weapons, plus vehicles, exotic locations and of course, the gorgeous Bond women. And for the first time ever, players will be able to participate as one of Bond’s villainous foes, reliving the missions through their eyes, as well as 007’s.
We’ll bring you more news (including the 007 LEGENDS player website and Facebook page details) as we get it.

There is a thread. This guy made another one.
Correction: there WAS a thread... and now there is a new thread.
I know for a fact that I contributed to it and it's nowhere within my list of previous posts. A Google search also turned up a dead link... so it's gone for some reason. This is the URL for the original thread: http://debrief.comma...91-007-legends/
I think Mharkin started it... if it was intentionally deleted I'd be surprised and confused.

The developers for this game are Activision and Eurocom. Looking at Eurocom's game library doesn't instill a lot of confidence in me. A lot of movie tie-in games and sports games. They have made Bond games in the past including the recent Goldeneye game.
I always get the feeling playing these games that their simple cash-ins rather than fully fleshed games.
I'll play this game only if they actually tackle OHMSS and one of Dalton's films.

Great! I really don't want to see Lazenby and Dalton's films get the shaft. On Monday we're supposed to be getting confirmation on one of the movies being used in the game.

Unfortunately, I think that'll end up being the case. Regardless, I'm still praying at least one of their films makes it in.

Activision to unveil first '007 Legends' classic movie on Monday Gaming - 19-05-12
Activision will unveil the identity of one of the six James Bond films that will be featured in the upcoming videogame "007 Legends".
007 Legends features an original, overarching storyline tying together six classic Bond movies, concluding with this year's highly-anticipated 23rd installment "Skyfall".
The announcement will come hot on the heels of the "Skyfall" teaser trailer, which will go live at 8:30am GMT on Monday.
From MI6-HQ.
I also echo the hope that Lazenby gets a look in (I'm not fussed about him honestly, but as he was a James Bond, he deserves his fair inclusion!) and Dalton for sure...just slip a bit of 'The Living Daylights' in there, or 'Licence To Kill'...simple!
Fingers crossed...although I expect it to be either 'Dr.No', 'From Russia With Love' or 'Goldfinger'..that's my wager out of the first 22 films!

Daniel Craig.Which Bond do you play as that's what I want to know? Is it Daniel Craig all the way through? Do you play as the specific actor from the specific film?

That's what I'm expecting. If there is one from each Bond actor's era, start from the beginning.Well, I'm sure that Activision will release some info about one of the Connery-era movies.

Who’s ready to find out which movies are in the 007 Legends game? Check back TOMORROW and you’ll be one of the first to know!
Maybe we'll be finding out ALL of the movies that will appear in the game tomorrow??

I hope so. The reason I pointed it out is that the original announcement said Activision would be unveiling just one of the six films, whereas this more recent tweet indicates that we're going to be told all of them.'Movies' is plural and not singular - so if it's not a spelling mistake, that's what we should be getting.

1:20.
It's Moonraker.

'Moonraker' eh? Well that a surprise. Lauded by a majority of Bond fans and some critics, but a film with lots of classic Bond elements. Kudos for this inclusion...now just what will it be? Do we finally get to use the Bond-ola maybe?!

Next reveal should be a Connery movie!

Where the is Bond in this 007 Legends trailer? I mean, isn't the Bond main reason to play these games? EA did a great job using Bond and since GoldenEye (both Wii version and Reloaded) it feels really strange without putting Bond on the first place, like he was a minor character.

This looks awful. The music mixing is atrocious. Urgh.
Not too keen on this release now. Someone had to say it.

Does it look a bit of a...rushed job after 'GoldenEye Reloaded' to fit in with the 50th? I hope they don't botch this up, especially in such a big year.
