You may be disappointed...That distinctly looked like Blofeld plummeting to his doom in one bit, there. Hopefully the game doesn't stray too far from OHMSS (that's the one film I hope they really stick obsessively close to in the game).

How do you mean? Are you merely hypothesising or what? Tracy still DIES at the end, right? RIGHT?
Come to think of it, how come they couldn't get Savalas' likeness? Did they want to stick to a generic Blofeld on purpose (which does kind of make sense), or were they just not able to get permission?

Well, I think I saw what was the end of the second OHMSS mission, so probably the last one, and

The music is different for each film, based around their theme song. Should be a great soundtrack, will be interesting to see how they incorporate Die Another Day.
Sorry, I'm late to this party - did you read that somewhere, or are you just having gone from watching those gameplay videos? (Which, it seems, have been taken down?)

The latter Goldfinger and OHMSS both use the theme song in their music. Hopefully the others will too.

They got taken down cos the uploader also had the whole of the Halo 4 campaign on there! Other people have done their own ones now.
Should get reviews tomorrow, as with the last two years, at the last minute! Hopefully it will be a pleasant surprise like GoldenEye.

EDIT: Holy . Watching some of the gameplay samples now. Kliner's actually re-done and taken inspiration from specific cues. Like, a new version of "laser table" is woven throughout the Goldfinger score.
That's utterly incredible. Never thought in a million years we'd get something that cool.
ADDITIONAL EDIT: Confirmed, it's in OHMSS as well. I'm hoping like crazy they release the game score.

Paint-by-numbers generic shooter that's all brand and no substance.
That's pretty much what this project was always meant to be. A poor, generic game that sole aim is to drain money from the pockets of fans rather than trying to do anything particularly interesting, or even good for that matter, with the game. As with GoldenEye Reloaded, this is one I'm going to skip.

It wasn't long before we were taken into the main auditorium for an opening by the Head of the BAFTA Group on the excitement of having a new Bond game celebrating 50 years of the franchise. Then, amid a few quips Sir Roger Moore himself would approve of, there was a few words by Activision Manager David Oxford.
A few quotes that sum up the way 007: Legends comes across was easy to pick out."Each film choice in the game represents a moment in Bonds career that defines him and made him the secret agent we know today, so it was important to capture the basics of each film whilst also making it exciting and fresh for games to feel they can be the legend of Bond in their living room."
It's clear a lot of thought about the history of the series in wanting to make a game "from the heart" by people who "live, sleep and eat Bond." After a screening of the brilliantly definitive 'Everything Or Nothing' documentary with THE best gunbarrel sequence in history, it was time for posh food in decorative presentation parcels and to more importantly try the game!
Trying a level in 'Goldfinger' set at Auric Enterprises, the first thing I felt was the improvement in graphics, detail and fluidity over 'GoldenEye Reloaded'. It is similar in every way on the whole, don't get me wrong, but the little touches have made a lot of difference. Also, the look and sound of the game takes you back to the film itself and I felt very immersed in a setting I had grown up watching, so loved playing it. The costumes, character skins and sounds are faithful, and that means a lot for a game based on 50 years of material.
You will have to witness the game yourself when it hits shelves in America today, but in the UK on Friday, but I honestly feel while this game will not break the mould, it should warm the hearts of true Bond fans an# casual gamers wanting to be Bond, as I do. This is the nearest and best experience yet! It's not a genre defining game but it's a bloody lot of Bond fun!
And the best part of the day was getting a goodie bag, complete with a 2 CD "Best Of Bond" soundtrack and a free copy of the game for XBox! Saved myself £37.99 then.
Don't know why the hell those celebs turned up for the launch - they didn't do anything except mingle around, have their picture taken and drink wine.
2 of them even left during the showing of the 'EON' documentary, then George Lamb played on the game for a bit and left.
Pointless.

At least it is out of the way of Halo and Call of Duty!

Movie tie-in games (and I say it loosely with this game) are never ever good. They do what they can to meet the release of the film and most of the time look unfinished.
This one especially as Activision only cares about the Call of Duty crowd. Not the Bond fans.
