With some Skyfall reviews saying it feels like Bond has lived his other adventures now, it oddly feels a bit right to see Craig's Bond going through them.

Wait...Daniel Craig isn't voicing this game?

A bit odd that he wouldn't voice the 'Greatest Hits' game when he specifically portrayed Bond in what was essentially a Pierce Brosnan game.

EDIT: It appears I am mistaken. Dan The Man indeed graces our presence in this game (according to Wikipedia, anyway).

I really hope they include Tracy's death scene from OHMSS (I'm really worried they'll adapt the ending and have Blofeld die instead, or something).

How do you know?

A Gamespot article said it's a soundalike, but that's all we've heard about it. I hope it is him, but half the time it doesn't sound like it.

Is it at a specific point? They're all gameplay with a couple of cutscenes, is the gunbarrel in the middle of a level or something?

Oh, that's awesome. Got there in the end :P

Ha, that is laughable. There are "two new modes" Legends and Icarus, aka Classic Conflict and GoldenEye!? Also, I thought Reloaded had 16 players?

8 maps...

Yeah, judging by the clips it's a (very good) soundalike, but it isn't him

That guy's got quite a few videos showing the maps. It looks like what we expected, the same but with a few tweaks and new maps. The gameplay looks smooth to me, he's in an online private match I think.

I love all the references to Goldfinger in the score, I hope they do something similar for each movie.

Some more videos up, seems Goldfinger is just two missions... the cutscene at the start of OHMSS is quite good, I like happy Craig! I laughed when he got on the skis and took a gun out though!

GoldenEye 64, a 64 bit game has better graphics that 007 Legends?

I'll let the evidence speak for itself.

Well I'm a happy chap this morning, I've been selected as a winner from an MI6 sweepstake to attend the 007 Legends launch event on Tuesday 16th October at BAFTA headquarters, London!

AND there will be a special screening of the 'Everything Or Nothing' documentary as well!

So chuffed, I never win any of those things but this is VERY welcome! I'll be sure to report on the game as best I can on Tuesday evening. :)

Yeah, i prefer GoldenEye 64 graphics all the way!

The difference is, that GE for its time had great graphics.
007 Legends wasn't made in 1995. It was made in 2012, but it has Perfect Dark Zero's graphics. which was an Xbox game (it was released on Xbox 360, but it was made for Xbox).

I'm not saying 007 Legends is by any means a feast for the eyes, but I am trying to highlight some of the hyperbole. I'm not sure where you get 1995 from. GoldenEye was released in 1997 and Perfect Dark was 2005 (started out as a GameCube game, before being shifted to Xbox and then Xbox 360.)

It looks like there's two levels per film, so 10 levels in total, and probably two more for Skyfall. Decent amount, but I think it's going to speed through the plots a bit too quickly. I think
Spoiler

Also by looking at the menus realised they've made the complete on Classic achievement much easier, because rather than being 007 Classic, you can pick Classic as the health system and choose between Operative, Agent and 007.

10 levels? Only 10 levels?
Also, Skyfall mission should cover the whole movie.

GoldenEye had 13, this will have at least 12 with Skyfall. Why should it cover the whole movie?

Just seen this that Eurocom tweeted last week. Odd that they've used the photo of Daniel Craig for this.

Because there won't be a Skyfall tie-in.

Mmm... if the trials are three per level, then it looks like there's only 8 levels. Or, the driving levels don't have trials.

I just reminded that I read somewhere that Moonraker's mission is set in three levels. I can't remember where, though.

Also, GoldenEye covered only one movie. 007 Legends will cover six.

We always knew it would only feature highlights from each film. If the number of levels is similar to Reloaded, we got a fair deal.

007 Legends is a game I am definitely buying. I don't care if the story is weak, or the graphics are bad. I am getting this game.

I'm hoping it ships tomorrow via GameFly so I can have it Tuesday, if not, then it looks like the end of the month.

What I've said from the beginning:

Multiplayer = About the same as Reloaded.

Graphics = Average at best.

On Her Majesty's Secret Service Included = Take my money.

The music is different for each film, based around their theme song. Should be a great soundtrack, will be interesting to see how they incorporate Die Another Day.

So am I, but I wanted it to be a better game.

We will also hear the instrumental versions of LTK and DAD for the first time. I mean, they weren't in the movie. I'm glad they're doing this, anyway. I wonder if We have all the time in the world will be featured as well.

Pretty much. This also applies to LTK.

I also find it morbidly hilarious to see Craig's Bond shooting his way through Moonraker and DAD; which were consistently spat upon by so many people (myself included) during the initial reaction to CR. I never thought I'd see the day, but to Hell with it: those kinds of movies work better in video games than Craig's films do.

I hope this game heralds in a general ease back into the crazier plots and premises (and gadgets!) of the Brosnan-era games, like Everything or Nothing. I don't necessarily need to see that stuff in the films, but it's fun in the games.
