Isn´t it wonderful that on the internet one can dismiss the hard work of a prolific composer with just a few words (and probably after listening to it only once or twice)?
So ... away from the Internet ... say at a party ... if someone tells you that they just saw a movie and that "it stunk" do you criticize them for forming an opinion after only seeing the movie once? Do you share how nice it must be for them to weigh in on the hard work of a filmmaker with only a couple words?
Exactly, you’ve listened to it, you’re perfectly entitled to tell us what you think of it.

Thanks. I've made a bit of a comparison now myself. The timecodes are only approximate, but I'm pretty sure the tracks are correct:
Is there any breakdown available of which SKYFALL tracks are featured in the Cinematic Sound broadcast? Thanks.
Just guessing, based on comparisons to the samples (not necessarily in this order): Grand Bazaar, Bloody Shot, Komodo Dragon, Breadcrumbs, Moors, Jellyfish, and a few others I can't recall.
00:31 Grand Bazaar, Istanbul
11:32 Severine
12:48 Jellyfish
16:05 Silhouette
16:58 Komodo Dragon
20:15 The Bloody Shot
25:50 The Chimera
27:47 Enquiry
30:35 Breadcrumbs
32:37 She’s Mine
36:23 The Moors
38:51 Mother

And now "She's Mine". Impressed.

which one are you referring to?That final one was rather surprising, as I remember. I liked it a lot.

Returning to the thread´s topic: I can´t stop listening to the "iFly"-piece. I´m pretty sure it´s part of Newman´s score.
... and if it´s not, does anybody know who composed it? It´s so perfect for a Bond film - I would love to have MORE of that music!
Did we ever find out the composer of this track?

"Mother" is the last one in that suite, yes.The last one. I suppose it's 'Mother'? I don't know.

Nope. Someone at whoever Coke's DM agency is, presumably. Wasn't half bad, was it?
IFly? Wouldn't that be KLM's agency? Regardless, it is quite nice.

Mother is quite nice ... or has she been bad ...

Indeed. 'Komodo Dragon' and 'Enquiry' have some Bond theme spliced in as well.
Can anyone confirm whether there's been any big Bond theme moments yet? Apart from Breadcrumbs. The full theme I mean, integrated?
If by "big Bond theme" you mean like CR's "The Name's Bond...James Bond", than I don't believe so.
Portions of it are subtlety integrated throughout the soundtrack though, like in Grand Bazaar and She's Mine, from what I understand.

29:32 sec (approx..) into Part 1 of the podcast, you can hear a musical progression in the strings which is VERY reminicient of the bit in Dr. No where the 3 Blind Mice fail to shoot Bond, due to a car zooming by, as he enters his hotel at night..VERY COOL, Mr. Newman indeed!!
That is so cool! Also, as others have mentioned, the Bond theme in Breadcrumbs sounds almost exactly like the theme heard in the PTS of Goldfinger. Talk about fan service!

Wow, now we blame Brosnan for the music too.....lol.
No what I did there I just always wanted Craig to have his own "sound" by a different composer.
Disclaimer: And I do like Arnold, as I do like Pierce. But both of them are not dogmas within the Bond canon. Not for me anyway. Not like Connery or Barry.

Complete opening cue hits Youtube.

It's like those opening orchestra hits scream "BOND MOVIE!". love it.
I think that moment where I abandon the forums until the domestic release is rapidly approaching.

That opening cue is just wonderful. Love it all. Thank heavens for not having to see Craig and listen to Brosnan at the same time: cognitive dissonance I tell ya, pure torture (Shark will understand this )
Oh, BTW:
Thanks for this!! Sounds amazing! Really am not getting the hate this version of the theme is receiving. It's giving me chills!
