So anyone interest in an Expanded Edition of the Score - PM me :)

Thank you, Berni99

Really interesting. It´s a 2-disc edition, but it´s not the one below.

This one has 22+22 cuts, including Adele´s work, trailer music, alternate... Really Expanded and complete. Can you reveal its origin?

I repit it´s not this one:$(KGrHqNHJEoFERYtWL6BBRGD5+UWKg~~60_57.J

Its a Mix of the Original OST, the FYC Promo , Itunes etc.

2 Cues are still missing: Bond Theme - Silvas Island, and the beginning of the Bond-Theme (Gunbarrel). But i think with the Blu Rays, in the next weeks we have a complete Score

So this is what happened:

When I heard the samples of the score a few weeks before it was released I was slightly underwhelmed but hopeful.

When I heard the score for the first time in the film I was intrigued and liked it.

When I listened to the score on CD for the first time I liked and appreciated it.  The more I listened to it I even began to love it.

Now, many months and listenings later I still discover new things about this score and I absolutely ADORE it.  And really, the Bond theme can be found in almost every track, so much of it is typical Barry - and still it manages to update everything in the most interesting and subtly detailed way.

Newman is a genius.  And I definitely would welcome him to return for many more Bond films.

Here here!

My standout tracks are still 'The Bloody Shot', 'Silhouette' and 'Skyfall'. Just spine-tinglingly superb.

I still have the exact opposite effect: the score was underwhelming in the cinema, worse on CD and remains poor for me. SF is the only Bond CD I have in my car and I find myself returning to it frequently, trying to find SOMETHING to make me appreciate it more and it just isn't there, save for a few snippets here and there.

The worst part is when driving I don't even notice for minutes at a time it's still even playing. That's how unmemorable this is for me. I maintain that it's not really any different than what David Arnold has done. I realize the John Barry glory days are long gone, but I'd like something more than just music that goes on and on with no real payoff and nothing to stand out.
