Is there any Chance to release a 2-Disc Soundtrack from Skyfall, with 145 Min. the Score is very long, and with only 1 CD, many many Cues are missing

Just because the film is 145 minutes long, that doesn't mean the score will be (hopefully not, anyway).

The CR soundtrack is 74 minutes long. So I'd expect something on that order.

About 30 minutes too long.

It depends. More is not necessarily more. I don't need or want every little cue. Conversely, if there were significant cues that were not (ultimately) used or strikingly different orchestration or arrangements to those cues, I would like them. By example, on the Thunderball soundtrack, the mono unused orchestral version of "Mr. Kiss Kiss Bang Bang" has a different take of the saxophone solo that I really enjoy.

I wonder when we'll get track previews and a tracklist.

I won't be listening until I've seen the film. Of all the possible spoilers, knowing when the music is about to shift in direction really ruins the impact of scenes for me. I knew exactly when Mitchell was Going to attack Bond in the bell tower, exactly when Bond's fight with Greene was going to end, exactly when Bond was going to flip the DBS, exactly when Bond was going to kill Gettler, exactly when Bond was going to win/lose the poker match...

...all because of the music.

I bloody admire your restraint. I can't stay spoiler free in the slightest, not even for the life of me!

Should be getting close. I believe we got them two weeks before CR premiered, but I can't reliably recall. If they've just finished the track names, etc, there are few necessary steps remaining. (And that's assuming we get track previews).

It seems to me that - for highly anticipated albums - track previews have come later and later, sometimes not even available until release day. But, that's just my anecdotal observation.

Then again, TDKR's entire score was available - legally - online well in advance of the movie's release.

Yes, tweets from music editor Tony Lewis suggest that recording is now finished, and they watched their first full version of SKYFALL this morning.

Brilliant. Oh my goodness. I can't believe we are mere weeks away now. Seems like yesterday that we were still calling it Bond 23.

3 weeks for the UK

5 weeks for USA,

Ridiculous that I have to wait an additional 2 weeks for the film and that I have to stay off of here.

Someone want to buy me a plane ticket for London in 3 weeks? Looking forward to the soundtrack though!

I've whined about those two weeks as well. All I got in reply was an Australian complaining that they have to wait even longer. Rough crowd, rough crowd. ;)

Now I don't feel so bad.

Actually I do, everyone should be able to see Bond's return at the same time!
