Bad news : the release of composer Thomas Newman's "Skyfall" soundtrack has been delayed by a week...
According to the Amazon, the CD will now be released on Monday 29th, a few days after the film opens nationwide...
I quite like that: it'd be nice to hear a Bond soundtrack actually in the film first for a change.
No offence intended! The bulldog seen on M's desk is just one of my running jokes.
Did you know it's Royal Doulton? Very posh

Interesting news if true. Although, I don't doubt that the full thing will probably be leaked online before release.
It'll be all over piratebay that's for sure.

Yeah, soundtracks always are, aren't they? I'll listen to a track or two to get the feel I'm sure but I'll try and wait.

Hell, the movie will be all over pirate bay before it even opens in North America.

Why they aren't releasing this day-and-date around the world is absolutely baffling to me. They're inviting piracy, killing all the buzz/momentum, and probably just plain confusing a lot of the North American audience. Terrible, horrendous marketing decision. Nonsensical.

That part's going to be infuriating for me. I'm literally going to have to put a browser block on CBN so I don't drift in here during those two weeks. It might be the most trying of my life. I can recall extensive clips from Quantum of Solace (the entire movie in 13 parts, if I'm not mistaken) being on YouTube before it even opened in North America.

Same here. I watched the film two weeks before the North American release. Wish I hadn't done that. Stopped torrenting all together last week so I'm good on the aspect.

I don't think I'll feel much temptation to download a torrent of somebody's cell phone video, but I know I won't be able to keep away from the forums. I won't even try.
Reading reviews from the International folk who have already seen the movie is a tradition of mine around these parts.

Yes i saw this! Who does he mean by Tom? I hope he's talking about the guy who gave him the 'amazing cue', and not Mr Jones...

Since it comes out two weeks later in North America, I need to stay away from here, imdB, Wikipedia, and just review sites period, I've done a good job of somewhat staying distant in many topics in the spoiler section.
Haha, I remember the pain involved in avoiding IMDB,Wiki and so on , On a few ocassions of delayed movie releases,Not this time though ,This time I will be getting it on Oct 25th , I will be pretty much watching it before anyone does on this site

This one sounds too much like a cross between Zimmer and Powell. Don´t like it.

Yeah,Sounds like Hans ZimmerI hope not. That sounds nothing like Newman. Or the wonderful "ifly"-cue that MAY be by Newman.
