Frankly, I don't think we've heard anything from his score yet.
I agree.

THAT is library music for sure, and the piece was edited to the music. Happens all the time and its actually exceptionally rare that something like this would have original music composed for it. There are tons and tons of music libraries dedicated to this trailer-like sound.
We havent heard anything from Newman yet...and when we do, it wont be heard in some offshoot ad campaign such as this.

Is the music featured on this website from Newman's forthcoming Skyfall score? It's certainly dramatic and Bondian.

Sounds more like Hans Zimmer and the infamous Remote Control Productions sound than anything to do with Bond.

Agreed. It will be when one of our friends and industry sources/professionals gets themselves a behind-the-scenes listen via their connections, and relays to us what they're hearing. Wink wink, nudge nudge.
I guess that is redundant if I've literally written 'wink' twice.

Side note... if anyone gets access to the score early, please give me a shout here or via my webpage. Chomping at the bit to hear it, and will.. of course.. buy the damn thing when it's released.

Let's do this, Shark. Once and for all. Not here, this thread is for Tom Newman. I'll go create a comically named thread in the Music forum for us to hash this out. (Spoiler: You're going to win). (Additional spoiler: It will be hilarious, and I'm not going to care). We need something to do for the rest of October.
(EDIT: Apparently you can't receive PM's? I'll trust you to find it, then).
Follow-up: Arnold just Tweeted at me. No Skyfall score at the classic FM recording session.
Wow. In the world of social media this is nothing. But in my hardcore Arnold-worship, Bond fan-infused-since-1997 life, that is the equivalent of one of you walking up to Pierce Brosnan and shaking his hand.

Congrats then.

Does anyone have any ideas when the programme is going to be aired? Presumably closer to the film's release...
Classic fm 8pm Friday 19th October.
