I think our excitement is entirely reasonable!

I wonder if any dialogue is said on set, and if someone heard them.

It's been confirmed elsewhere that communication in Skyfall will be handled through interpretive song and dance.

Bond´s flat... traditional element?

Well, not sure about that. I have no problem with it, but it´s not half the important as the presence of M,Q, the AMartin, GunBarrel in its place!...

I don't think a Bond movie needs all of these classic ingredients at once. CR had just a few and I didn't miss that much if the rest. They should stay as close to Fleming as a multi-million Dollar movie could be in 2012. And from what we have seen or heard they have an old british sportscar, the iconic Walther gun, drinks and Q. Scrambled eggs would be fine btw.

I don't think so yet. I think the first bit of dialogue we learnt from QUANTUM OF SOLACE was Tanner speaking on the phone: "She wants to know about Slate ... He says it was a dead end." I imagine any clips showing dialogue will be equally innoccuous!

Well the Walther and the DB5 won'thave some massive back story, neither will the Martini. So I don't think it's anything to worry about.

Assuming they're the same DB5 and martini from CASINO ROYALE, they kind of do have backstories. Bond won the DB5 from Alex Dmitrios in the Bahamas, and then invented the Martini Vesper during the poker game in Montenegro (though he later denied that it had a name). But the difference is that those backstories have already been established, and since they're inanimate objects with no real consequence to the plot, I doubt SKYFALL will take the time to go into how the DB5 and martini came to be.

Yes, this is all very exciting, i wonder if it will last until November. I guessing it will because there is so much we don't know about the film yet.

Even though there is a lot of footage of Bond, Tanner, and M, around England and what not, we haven't seen any of the other characters yet. (Unless I've missed out) I'm guessing all the footage from Pinewood Studios, Shanghai and Turkey will remain a surprise, until the teaser at least.

The setting of that scene with Fiennes and Dench looks very sinister, like she's getting an earful - with the camera in a P.O.V tracking shot, and she is sat down as he stands over her, maybe her power is slipping?

Still, can't wait to see the development of this bunker or hideout!

Probably Fiennes' character holding her responsible for not stopping the attack on MI6 and deaths of agents, I'd say.

Nobody knows. And nobody who is in any position to tell is going to let it slip. Whatever it is, it is no doubt a plot point, but that doesn't automatically make it bad.

Are M and Bond tearing around London keeping this Macguffin safe from their enemies?

They may well do, but once again, we're in no position to know for sure. It could be that M has a highly-classified source somewhere in the world, someone whose identity only she knows, and they communicate by depositing intelligence in the locked box, which M personally retrieves on a regular basis.

well there is this article i read that suggests that it is Bonds apartment in DR and he does stop to look at his mail. so maybe it was.
