Indeed and agreed. We'd get far more annoyance expressed if next week's clapperboard showed Fiennes shooting Bardem in the head, or Craig seducing Dench. For several reasons.

Looks like it could be some kind of makeshift interrogation room, possibly in the manor house. That thing on the left looks like it could be some old drapes, and the lighting array could be focused on the subject of the interrogation, to make him or her uncomfortable.

In a way, you're possibly both right. My initial thought that it was studio spotlights shining through a window to try and recreate natural sunlight streaming in.

Sony Pictures has just released a "new" picture from the skyfall set (we already saw it a little bit smaller @empire some weeks ago)

I find this interesting - I assumed it was the pool-side photo, but it's from (what I am assuming to be) the undergroun bunker. But in the background, it appears that there is natural lighting. So maybe it's not an underground bunker at all, or maybe it's an entirely different set. Or maybe it's just at Pinewood and the back wall has been left out because the camera will not be looking at it.

I think that's just the strip lighting bouncing off the archways. It does appear to be an MI6 set of some kind. An underground bunker, or whatever.
