Although I think the pictures are just of Dench, Kinnear and the others going to the set rather than actually filming anything.

For what it's worth, M and Tanner are dressed differently to how they were on the first day of shooting at Smithfield - the driving scene towards the supposed underground bunker with scruffy Bond.

There's a danger we're going to end up talking about this across several threads - but I don't think it does throw that theory out... Did we ever get a scene number for the supposed attack?

Well, it is a bit of supposition ... but the popular theory seems to be that the motorcade scenes - with Bond and M going to the underground bunker - take place around the scene #57 mark.

I think we can reasonbly suppose that the scene in which we see Bond and M being escorted to the underground bunker could take place before the scene 53G. We have the picture published by Empire magazine showing M sitting at the same desk and, moreover, she is wearing the same dress which we saw in the first day of filming at Smithfield Market.This means that the two scenes should be close together in the film.

I think we have one of those amusing little linguistic differences. In American English, "pants" are "trousers," so the comment that Dame Judi should wear "pants" simply means that her ankles would look better covered by trousers. Still, all this provided my laugh of the day.

I believe Craig was in Berlin when this was shot.

At a guess, I'd say that the exterior of the building is doubling for somewhere else.

Just checked back in, and The Shark's comment was strangely hilarious. The Major is correct though, I thought anything covering those ankles, no matter what they would be called, would be a huge improvement!
