Suppose Daniel Craig will be back as 007, for how many films would you wish to see him back?

Tom Cullen... The question remains:  Is he interesting ?  Or a relatively vapid and bland good-looker ?

I'll stack all my chips on the latter

Good suggestion, but he is 40 next year...

...and believe me, it's all down hill from there.

As much as I respect Roger Moore and all that he's done for the franchise, I would have to vehemently disagree with him on this one.

He also suggested Cuba Gooding Jr to play Bond after Brosnan...

He's evidently often asked about Bond. And just as evidently he's very supportive of the series. But he's by no means at all times serious about his comments and surely not constantly out to spot the next model 007.

I´m absolutely sure that we could start an outrageous rumour that would get picked up as "an insider told us..." immediately.

I suppose Fassbender is at least right about the next Bond not being one from the bookies' lists. In general it doesn't seem to sit well with the-powers-that-be when third parties make a quick buck on Bond's back...

True, but he's a superb actor. In Starred Up and '71 i never once thought about his height, but i did think he'd be great to grab the baton should they continue in the gritty Craig vein, which i hope they do.

I said as much about O'Connell several pages back in this forum.

He is a rising actor, but just too short.

I wouldn't welcome O'Connell in the role. For me, Bond and the actor that plays him would have to have an air of cultured superiority - which O'Connell just doesn't have. Maybe narrow-minded of me, but I can't unsee him from SKINS...

Bond producer Callum McDougall on BBC Radio 4s today program, this morning said they want Craig back if he'll do it - he's Barbara's number 1 choice....

My opinion: time to move on...

How many actors do you favor now? You must have guessed it by now.

Why don't you do like your top ten picks?...

No - but since Craig himself said in October that he loves his job as Bond we have to assume that he still wants to return.

Even Craig himself wants everybody to forget that interview now.

So, let´s just put it behind us, okay?  Craig was exhausted, not in the mood for an interview.  He recently said Bond is the best job he can think of.

He will be back.
