The random foreign guy who talks over it is quite annoying.

Speak for yourself. We all want our own experience of the final film to be virginal - unsullied and pure.

Random guy? That's just General Medrano's voiceover. Remember how Moby's theme had Brosnan's voice in it? It's like that. The random foreign guy who talks over it is quite annoying.

This is VERY slowly starting to grow on me.

Bloody terrible. Hopefully, they'll use the instrumental version for the title sequence.

The Mugabe-Hello Mum Alliance could generate a landslide result here...

I disagree. I'm quite glad it's not another "Bond" song that leans heavily on the 1960s Barry sound. We had plenty of those, and it's stale. It's right to push on. Regardless of the success of this venture (and I haven't made up my mind), I'm glad it's pushing into territory that's just not another "Bondian" track. This is torture for a Barry-fan. Has absolutely nothing to do with Bond. It's only designed to be a 'hit' and attract the younger generation. It is really sad...

Some of the best Bond songs were the ones that sounded the least Bondian - "Live and Let Die," or "Nobody Does It Better."

I suppose the full song includes Dominic Greene and Elvis's voiceovers, as well...Dammit, Righty, I was about to crack the same response out!Random guy? That's just General Medrano's voiceover. The random foreign guy who talks over it is quite annoying.

I don't see how they "took what made Bond songs great," since "Live and Let Die" and "Nobody Does It Better" don't really have much in common with any of their Bond song predecessors. They're huge departures.I don't agree really. They took what made Bond songs great but they incoporated their own style as opposed to paying homage or ripping one off. Some of the best Bond songs were the ones that sounded the least Bondian - "Live and Let Die," or "Nobody Does It Better."

Shouldn't Brosnan sing some ABBA for this song? The first person to suggest that Mr Brosnan singing some ABBA would be more appealing is going the right way to a firmly smacked bottom.
